It's quite strange that people didn't show much fascination on rollables as they did so regarding foldables.

I will never understand why people want folding phones. The compromise of these devices are screens that are incredibly easy to deform and scratch. Most people already get a few scratches on their phones after a year or two rattling around in pockets or purses, imagine how much worse it will be if foldable devices catch on.
I do hope underscreen cameras are coming soon to the mainstream because I absolutely hate notches and hole punch cameras, they absolutely ruin the aesthetic of any device and are a distraction when consuming content.

Smaler phones, compact phones, hand-sized phones. Call it as you wish, it is the most desiered trend. The phone companys shows that supply and demand dosent work in the phoen buisness

For me personally it is neither. If I had to name a feature I expect most that would be lowered prices of this year's flagship phones.
If I had to pick something from the list, I'd probably pick high-resolution sensors. From what I understand, you mean "better cameras using high-resolution sensors". All these twistable, rollable, bendable phones are not my thing, I can live just fine without them. $1500 for a fancy toy? Cool, you buy it, I'll save for a down payment.
I'd pick "return to 16:9 screens in smartphones" and "return of 3.5mm jack in high-end phones" if it was an option. Because, you know, I'm perfectly happy with my 4 year old flagship (the model is almost 5 years old - Samsung Galaxy S7, there are now s8, s9, s10, s20, and soon we'll have s21). Sure, battery is almost dead, barely holds half a day of active usage. Sure, screen has a few small cracks despite having a screen protector and a solid case. Surely, performance has been complete CRAP after some software updates (thanks, Samsung!). But it still works and it costs me $0 to not upgrade it. I'd rather save money to buy something far more expensive, important and long-lasting.

Now that's expected. However, a pop up camera is superior to underdisplay cameras in terms of real privacy and superior image quality, not to mention, it looks WAAAAY much better and costs less. So no underdisplay selfie camera(s) for me. They look like visible dirt or smudge and not exactly any less uglier than the existing punch hole selfie cameras.
Besides, apps still can't use that rectangular space where the underdisplay selfie camera is located, wasting so much useful space, so what's the point. It's just not worth it.

I'm still not going to change my stance about periscope with variable focal length. ASUS has already proved it with the Zenfone Zoom all the way back in 2015, so now it's just about improving the existing technology. As for the under-display front camera, I wouldn't embrace it until someone put a secondary ultrawide camera.

Only thing I wish is an affordable compact nochless phone like Samsung G A3, but unfortunately that's not going to happen anytime soon.
