02 January 2021
Motorola’s 2020 path has not been trouble-free or particularly straight, but we got a string mid-ranger lineup in the end.

I would little bit argue with G Pro being a looser.
I have bought one recently and the main reasons were stereo repro, Android One (which was not mentioned in the article) and good camera setup. With stylus I am starting to get used to and see it quite usable.
And I have bought it for about 190 EUR which was quite good bargain.
Overall I am happy with it and would recommend that.

Andreidinutu, 02 Jan 2021Nah motorola did something by now, unlike nokia. And also ... morePeople just hate Motorola for no reason.

    Facts:
    1) Since 2019, Motorola Mobility is finally profitable after 10+ years.
    2) Since 2019, they are constantly in global top 10 by sales.
    3) They are selling more phones than ever.
    4) Motorola Mobility is the only mobile company which supports right to repair.
    5) Data are stored at Motorola's HQ at Chicago.

        Epic fail of article.

        1) Edge and Edge+ are almost trash phones i.e. they have so many issues that I don't know worst modern Motorolas than them.
        2) G 5G Plus is good phone on paper, but reality is something else, and even if you are really into 5G, just skip it.
        3) G Pro is Android One phone which is big difference compared to Stylus and yet author failed to mention it. G Pro had quick big permanent price cut in Europe just few months after release. Yes, initial price of 330 € was too much, but now for ~215-240 € is great buy. Also, phone is Android Enterprise certified.
        4) Author completely omitted (probably) the most popular Motorola phone of 2020 – One Fusion+! Why?!

All in all, very poorly done article.

I HV edge+ and 12pro. Video Telephoto of edge+ and photo capture I found more good than 12.pro.

            2. Battery usage hours are great in edge+ ,than 12 pro.

I found more value of money in edge+.

              G9 power sucks

Andreidinutu, 02 Jan 2021Nah motorola did something by now, unlike nokia. And also ... moreBoth Motoroala and Nokia was icons of mobile history.

But Motorola is like IBM, completely not dead but still innovating and producing like Fexible OLED phones.

No mention of the stylus on the aptly named G Stylus and G Pro, while the processing power and display is good enough for most people today. There really is no need to spend any more.

Charging also doesn't need to be any faster, with enough power to get to the overnight charge, which is again good enough for most people. The latter phone can now be bought for under £230 direct from Motorola in the UK which is an absolute bargain. Very underrated in my opinion.

I don’t understand their naming scheme.

I think specialy winner is moto G9 plus so it's not in the list

Hehehe, so 15W charging on the Moto G Pro is actually fast charging while 18W on the Moto Edge+ is slow charging? Battery capacities on consideration, maybe? Anyway, the lack of availability will surely make it hard for Motorola to reach out to most people. It's like Nokia, nostalgic, but useless at this point. A lack of identity is what is killing Motorola. Hope they get up some day and give us resounding specs on phones, or will they?

Good job on that Razr though. It's the only competition to Samsung's flip phones. Hope Motorola can sort out the build issues in their next iteration.
