If we go by your logic, then every company using 3rd party hardware in one phone (not just camera sensor), have to put all the 3rd party labelling all over the back of the phone? Yikes.

Even in actual camera world like Canon, Leica, Fujifilm & bunch of others using Sony sensor. Did they put Sony branded label? No.

Huawei's flagship using a custom IMX sensor, exclusively only for their devices. Idea, concept, design all are done by Huawei's R&D itself (RGB+monochrome, Quad-bayer *others follow after that*, ToF *others follow after that*, RYYB) then gave it to Sony to produce it, as it has manufacturing capabilities expertized. The same goes to their lens system, (anti-distortion UWA at 14mm, liquid lens tech *next P50) then pay other 3rd party company to manufacture it. If u working on a place that got involvement between client+consultant+supplier, then u'll know what I'm talking about.

Leica heavily involved in their image processing as well, not only certified lens. And no, Samsung is not the first to introduce reverse charging, its Huawei. Recheck back your sources.

And just because Sony designed a sensor for Huawei doesn't mean it's Huawei's. Rightfully they should have the Sony name somewhere with the Leica name on that ugly camera cluster.
Just give the credit where it's due. Maybe say digital processing done by Huawei??

I don't follow fast charging as it's not a thing that interests me as my phones last all day per my use.
Didn't Samsung introduce the reverse wireless charging and everybody made fun of them for it, now most flagships are using that tech.
Nm cards are another proprietary tactic. Same tactic used by Apple with their ridiculous charge cords.
I can't say anything about the face-id as I thought that was an Apple implementation but I could be mistaken.
And I thought the ultra fast charging was introduced by other bottom tier chinese companies and Huawei 'improved' on yet another already implemented trend.

Until they solve their GMS problem, I will stay away from Huawei. P40 Pro is the last phone I will buy from them. I have a problem with the FFC on P40 Pro, takes very bad videos indoors and the customer service said it's normal ... I sent them a video comparison with a Poco X3 and the X3 makes 10 times better videos with the FFC and they told me that the quality on P40 Pro on 4K is very good ... Definitely will stay away from their phones.

Huawei paid marketing article lookalike aside -- Mate 40 Pro sure is a winner, managing to sell at ridiculously expensive price without GMS and raving up comment on all about it.
