What's the use of being environmental friendly, if Xiaomi :

    1. Keep rebranding phones (xiaomi, redmi, poco)

    2. Keeps releasing new phones every week

    3. Keep releasing phones that are basically almost similar in specs with very few differences (Poco X3 and Redmi Note 9 Pro, Mi 10 and Mi 10T Pro, Poco F2 Pro and Mi 10T, Redmi 9 and Redmi Note 9S)

    4. Seperate chargers and other accessories have to be in an different packaging (like apple) with carbon and plastic wastes. What's the use? 1 big, thick box equals to 1 small thin phone box, 1 earphone box, 1 charger box. So what's the point?

    5. Consumers in budget, midranges, and entry levels are not happy? Not all people can afford an charger after buying an phone, especially if their budget is limited on that level of price range of consumers.

(Example : Mom gives you $500, and you bought an Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro, but no charger or others. So you need an extra $50 when your mother said NO, and you end up buying other worse phones that don't last long that will make you keep changing phones every few years, and keep wasting money and resources)

    6. Making phones that cannot last long more than 5 years,

it's funny that no one brings up environment when companies sell wireless chargers and toxic materials

You aren't taking into account other phones from Xiaomi like Redmi note 9 pro 5g, Mi 10 ultra, Mi 10X pro, Mi 10T Pro, Poco X3, Poco F2 pro, etc which had less profit margins

Hope only flagships get affected, since midranges, budget phones, and entry levels consumers will suffer from this stupid program that just wanna prioritizes profit over customer's experience. People who spend $100 - $400 on an phone will DEFINITELY not spend another $40 - 100 just for an accessory, because their budget is limited, unlike those rich boys and girls

That also solves the problem with the quick charges. Some consumers don't want quick charge worrying that will affect the battery life cycle. They can opt with slow charger if that's their choices.

This is all about money and treating us like idiots. If we want it to stop we need to refuse to buy any phone without a charger

                  It's not even funny anymore

Everyone, if we want phone companies to stop these unacceptable BS trends we need to pledge not to buy any phone that doesn't come with a charge. If no one buys them the chargers will make a very quick return

Anonymous, 26 Dec 2020Small profit margin? Mi 10 Pro sold for 1000 euros has s... morePoco F1, poco X3, Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro, Poco F2 Pro, mi 10 ultra Redmi Note 9. all budget phones from all companies except Google and Apple and Samsung has very high price to value ratio, but only those that i mentioned above that have you asking : How do they make money from them? From that phone, they profit less, but at the same time, with the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro, they profit a lot. But before, mi 8 mi 9,etc they profit less than 10%. Even then, in my country, their phone have a lot of offers and bundles which makes them even more worth it. Even Poco F2Pro and Mi 10T costs $399 with an Powerbank, Wireless earbuds, and Mi Band, so you may be wondering, how do they profit?? Think again, their products that profit a lot are far less than the products they sell that profits very very little

Yet another reason not to buy a Xiaomi "flagship" or any "flagship" phone. They're all trash these days anyway. Midrange is where it's at

"environmental protection" they said. But how this ""environmental protection" works if I need to buy their charger in order to benefit fastcharge. So what is the difference ??? They decide not to put the charger in the box, I decide not to buy thei products anymore.

If Xiaomi along with Poco and R... moreThey're trying to cut down sales price by removing some accessories from the box. Manufacturers always assume you'd have like 2-3 chargers from the phones you bought previously & there would be no need adding one to the box any longer. Things that cost more money for phone manufacturer. Earphone jack, chargers, fast wireless charging & stereo speakers. They're trying to make their products pocket friendly and we should appreciate that. Not everyone can afford a thousand dollars phone

Think how many phones are shipped yearly. Now you can fit like two times more phones in the plane with lot smaller package. Small move can make big difference when something moves in billion.
