This is common sense. Even a blind man would've seen this coming in the year of one of the worst global pandemics where business came to halt almost everywhere. Smartphone shipment is lower all across the board except for cheap Chinese junk phones.

Removing the headphone jack and following apple also contributed to the fewer sales, whether samsung wants to admit it or not.

Now you want to take a chance on another brand that is a fraction of the price and expect to have the same longevity for the device?

Maybe you'd like to be able to swap out devices per activity for the day, or to match the dress your going to wear but don't confuse Redmi / Poco / Xiaomi cheapness for quality. Hands down the Samsung is more expensive but it is a far better phone.
Maybe say your personal preference is not to have one great phone but a couple of budget phones.

Android needs lots of RAM to run acceptably fast and a smaller phone would mean the battery wouldn't be enough to last but a few hours. Android OS is several years behind compared to iOS, very fragmented and not optimized and on top of that Android chips are also several years behind the Apple chips and now they even have 120 Hz refresh rate to mask the system's inability to run smoothly and this requires even more battery consumption. Thus their only option is to churn out huge devices in order to pack a large battery. Apple on the other hand, manages to outperform Androids with less specs, less cores, less RAM, smaller batteries. As I said, they are ahead by several years.

Exynos, focus issues, screen resolution vs refresh rate limitation, playing catch-up with Chinese phones in the periscope and charging speed areas. It's not like Samsung is unable to compete, they are just arrogant and stupid.

Whackcar, 26 Dec 2020After seeing the big downgrades on the upcoming S21 series.... moreTrue, I am happy I got my S20 5G with Snapdragon back in April for 700 bucks. It has 120hz, great resolution, a premium glass metal body, 12GB of RAM, great camera all around, SD card support. I am sure S21 will not e better.

Only good cameras in it's category otherwise poco F2 pro is a solid device n should have won such best budget flagship award. All American youtubers only cover n like Sammy, iphoney, Pixels.
