Each Xiaomi updates will slowly have power power management & bugs. The ultimate blow will be phone brick. Typical Xiaomi. Planned obsolescence at it's best.

It's from xiaomi that's responsible for the updates. Sorry to burst your bubbles but that's the truth. And xiaomi Mi A line was never good and not ideal for customers.

Google usually push the updates at the beginning the month and then xiaomi only pushes the update much much later. Unfortunately Android one is almost dead.

Sony batteries are not that hard to find if you know where to search, even LG ones (but LG parts are harder to find)

As Samsung, it makes sense their stuff is easy to find because sadly they still have 50%+ of the android market in their hands.

This was to be expected from Xiaomi.

Android 11 is really quite problematic for Xiaomi.
My K30 5G lost all of its Google Play support after I updated it to Android 11, and the Google Play installer in their Mi Apps is not ready for the new OS, so I had to side load the apps instead to get them working. It was such a horrible experience as I had to factory reset my phone just for that. Perhaps I could've saved a lot of time by simply reinstalling all Google Play apps, but I didn't know it beforehand anyway.
Otherwise, the new OS is really just fine altogether, though I didn't notice that much changes really.
Surprisingly, my phone even has the newer security patch level compared to the Snapdragon version of my sister's S20+. Hers is still at November 1 2020 after the upgrade, while I'm already at December 1 2020.

And I replaced twice the display of my GF's Sony XA from Amazon's parts and I live in France, so there are enough I'd say...

Not the only one, oneplus have just released update 11.0.6.8 for 8t and the phone is lagging videos audio and games, also "hey google" no longer works.
And the worst of it is oneplus don't seem to care, haven't released a statement to say they are going to fix the issues.
Shocking customer service from a brand I used to love 😒

There aren't even replacement parts / batteries for Sony in Europe. No choice but Samsung left, who are also turning into garbage quickly.

Smartphone in Android One program, like Mi A3,is receiving software support from Google directly, instead of Xiaomi.
Why everyone in the comment blame Xiaomi instead of Google?
I never feel stock Android is something good back to the day when I using Galaxy Nexus.Stock Android is something suck.

No problem! People will buy the Mi11 to replace their old bricked handset.

Xiaomi software experience is a nightmare. Flashy phones terrible software experience. Good for a year then terrible support & bugs after software updates. They do this deliberately so that you keep buying their new phones like Mi 11. They desperately need new customers. 😁. Left their shit a long time ago. Never looking back. They'll suck you with their cheap price but cheap is expensive.

Buy an LG or a Sony or even an Asus (RoG/Zenfone) if you want to avoid Chinese AND bad brands, but clearly not Apple or Samsung, those two never run out of anti-consumer and unethical ideas.

Broken updates are like tradition with Mi A line. Good thing there won't be any more Xiaomi Android One devices.

And thats why you need SDcards on phone specislly expensive flagship phones that are 1k+ and not remove it.
