I bought a Optimus 2x and was afterwards disappointed to see LG failed to bring any update to its software. I sold the phone after almost half a year of waiting and bought me a Samsung GS2.
I WILL NEVER BUY A LG PHONE AGAIN. :)

Reason ... because Apple iPhone is actually copycat of LG design !!

L who? not impressed, unfortunately LG has not play in this 3 team game (Samsung,HTC & Apple) unfurtunately we're not seeing innovation when it comes to designs, not from any of these thress less from LG

Come on LG. you are becoming more innovative. . :-) majority of the patents related to LTE are yours, you are the first to use dual core processor in smartphone. . . like you LG. . . Only thing is be fast in software updates, so that others cant overtake you. . .

Killer specs... but that look? Oh God...
Also wonder about battery life, camera and audio chips.
GS3 is pretty good in these aspects, LG has been typically sucky.
Might have to go with the Sony Xperia TX, if the battery support proves decent. Or maybe Note 2 or GS3.
Unless this LG G proves to be both a better looker and better performer then I expect it to be.

it's funny how people say they don't care about updates.
but can you imagine SII stuck with 2.3 or SIII with 4.0?
or changing your phone after only 5 months to get an software update?
LG don't even update their flagship products. You buy and you're forgotten.
