i0S...Never...Again, 04 Jan 2021No it won't as long as heat is kept in check. You guy... moreEverything is specially designed in phones with super duper ultra mega fast charging speeds. From their batteies split ups into two cells, to charging brick and even the cables.

So everything is non-standardized and if you want to charge with those speeds without worrying you have to have everything from the same manufacture.

Now here's the question for you... Why are only Chinese brands using the Super mega duper fast chargings? Are you trying to tell me Samsung don't know how or can't make such specification with charging speeds? Why would western brands ignore the charging speeds for so long?
Thank you and don't forget to like your own comment. Lol... People...

Oppo find x3 pro will be first :)

          Thats not enough.
I want to see a phone charged from 0 to 100% in less than 30 seconds.
Same could be used for electric cars so we can replace stupid gas ones.

It has 40W charger. Battery, the last time I measured 3 months ago, was around 92% of capacity. Measured with some APP, for 3 weeks (forgot the APPs name). Which is in the range of battery cap decrease for Apple phones with 5W chargers. You can find the info on Apple's site.
In my case, battery degradation is negligible.

Oppo is in a league of their own. Huawei heats up quite a bit..
65W is taking only 28min for 4000mah battery while staying cool as a cucumber.

You guys need to stop it with the same old talking points.

Also batteries used here are specially designed to take up that much load unlike the regular ones on Sony or Apple that might explode if subjected to ultra fast charging.

I prefer fast charging by VOOC (or any of the rebranded names by BBK electronics).

This one is a dual cell solution to the already existing 66W.
The existing 66W on Huawei is just numbers on paper.
The 65W VOOC charging is twice as fast as Huawei 66W.

Also the Huawei heats up a lot, while VOOC keeps it cool during usage while being plugged to the socket.
