The Samsung QLED 8K TV is really stunning in terms of its design as well as viewing experience

microLED is crazy expensive not just because of materials or else.
because only samsung has made it available for consumers as of now.

in the next 5 years once other companies have entered this tech properly and adopted their lineup with MicroLEDs we can expect a price drop , just maybe. if we live by that time we will see.

iOSdroid, 07 Jan 2021What about new budget TV line-up?ive got the exact same question haha. planning to buy a TV this year.
all those innovations are nice and all but over the budget of the majority of people.

Anonymous, 07 Jan 2021But LG has OLED tv's And LG suffered from Burn-in if you leave the TV disconnected. Thats why they tell you to keep it connected at all times. Meaning that i could get burn-in from their TV's since i get power outages randomly.

I will upgrade maybe in 5 years. I am still happy with my two years old Samsung curved tv. :)
My next TV will be maybe microLED if it gets cheaper.

I'd love to make the money for microLED. I hope Sharp, LG, and Sony start making TVs with this material.

I have 75” QLED, and only problems with it are backlight bleed and not having pure black. great TV overall, but for the price i paid, it should be better.

I wonder is my next over 80” TV OLED or maybe something like this Neo QLED, really interested to see how the backlight bleed with this one goes.

Good luck getting even 480p on a 40" using micro-LED.

VA type LCD-panel with mini-LED backlight is the way to go for computer monitors.

For large computer monitors, microLED has potential. Due to it having capable brightness whilst reduced backlighting.

Of all the things, I think the Remote control with solar panel is the most make sense here lol. Remote TV will sit idle most of the time anyway, so the ability to charge it with even indoor lighting is awesome. Why don't they make this sooner though..
