I am so, so disappointed.
The S21 and S21+ are black sheep through and through from a hardware perspective. At first, they seemed to be carbon copies of the S20/S21+... but they removed the ToF sensor... then they start coming with less in the box... and then they get a lower resolution screen. The lower resolution I can somewhat live with, because at least it's a native resolution and LPTO, which is better than running the screen in a non-native resolution. Removing MicroSD support though? This is the final straw. Why? Why would they do this? This line is a joke. There is nothing new on this phone except the 888 and the design, which TBH, isn't that big of a deal. Woo, so the camera piece now connects to the side. WHO CARES ABOUT THAT!? Where is the telephoto camera like the S20 FE had? Where is an improved selfie camera? Where are a lot of things?
I hope this whole line tanks.
They should have not even bothered with the S21 and S21+. They should have only released the Ultra. The rest is e-waste.

Lesson to Learn ::

You pay 1 lac+ amount for phone (samsung note 20 ultra)
and after 4 month of release you will get same crap in 30% price down.
resell value is trash in samsung. I am victim of s20+ and s20FE

These are the same people who will defend the S21 price as a "cost for their R and D". I dont care if it plastic or does not have any charger..but wait... dont tell me your a sammy fan boy??!!

Why expensive phones without microsd has triple slot cards?, Chinese phones follow the market, why Chinese phones the make there own market, all phones triple slot cards all price range. If the do that, maybe Samsung & iPhone will follow.

Samsung continues to shoot themselves in the foot. No SD card and FHD screen (going backwards) on the Plus is a huge mistake. I think they might have gotten away with that on the standard S21 because that is supposed to be a more "base" model but the Plus should not just be a bigger version of a low end phone flagship.
The Ultra is just too big for most people. Even with the price savings they will not perform well.

I will be upgrading to a 2021 flagship from my current daily driver (OP8 Pro) but it won't be the overpriced S21 Ultra.

AnonD-940827, 12 Jan 2021Exynos sux totally.! They're using reference ARM Cortex cores instead of their customized Mongoose cores this time around. Performance and power consumption should be pretty much in line with competitors also doing that.

AnonD-940827, 12 Jan 2021Try 3 months. We saw that on the s10 series. Haha same goes with the vanilla Note 20. It lost more than 30% of its initial price in only 4 months. Or juste think about the fools who paid 1400$ for the S20 Ultra at the launch...🤦♂️

Anonymous, 11 Jan 2021I don't understand the flak Samsung's getting for... moreS20 series were at least still relevant with a glass back, micro sd slot but in S21, Samsung ditched the micro SD slot, changed the back panel from glass to plastic and put the same camera for S21 and S21 plus yet they have to pay $850 for it.
