GSM Boy, 12 Jan 2021now I know the reason why they added the picture step, hahaHaha, well technically it defeated the box and didn't get to the pictures.

Those pictures are actually you helping to train Google's AI, there is a mix of images of known stuff and things the AI didn't recognize, sometime you can get along by ignoring one of the image because of this.

The issue is they sniff a lot of data to "check you are human", way more than just how you move your cursor, otherwise it wouldn't make senses if you go to many links in a row to ask you more and more and then every time, if you succeeded multiple times, chances that you are a bot are decreasingly low, if they really wanted to check if you were a real person and not just a simple script, they would have much better success at that.
But as usual, they just want to exploit people, both for training their AI for free, and gathering data about users, such as what websites you visit, despite potentially being on a totally de-googlised computer on Firefox, using StartPage on Linux, but because of that, they can know what websites you visited thanks to the many cookies and your IP or even Mac address.
By the way, using the same method, Facebook track people that doesn't even have a Facebook account, with the many Facebook chats, like buttons and others, they can easily make quite complete profile of their users and non-users alike, that's another privacy issue many totally ignore it is a thing.

GSM Boy, 12 Jan 2021yes, every new advancement in mobile technology needs a sac... moreTrue, the issue here is that this tech, no matter how much it will progress, will always be inferior to any other solutions.

But in the end, the front camera will disappear anyway, there are much better solutions that will come when we will have the technology, from retinal display projectors or holographic projection (both give the same result) to brain/computer interface, the front camera will be useless as the future is clearly to use the main camera or a removable wireless one and similar things.

AnonD-909757, 12 Jan 2021Yes, indeed, and it will become clearly better than on this... moreyes, every new advancement in mobile technology needs a sacrificial lamb to lay down the ground works for the next gen. RIP ZTE Axon 20, you will be remembered. hahaha

GSM Boy, 12 Jan 2021yes, I agree , I think the technology needs to develop, jus... moreYes, indeed, and it will become clearly better than on this phone, in fact, even as I hate this tech, I'd say buy the second one that come from any big brand, not the first Samsung/Huawei/Xiaomi etc, but the second one, but clearly not this one, except if you really don't care about selfie quality or can/want to buy another phone alongside it.

But the tech itself will always have the same limitations, looking through an opaque surface (regardless of the percentage) will always give you lower quality, privacy issues, a spot on the display with lower quality, and higher cost.
As I said, the Samsung solution is much better :
                      https://www.androidauthority.com/samsung-under-display-camera-phone-1188611/
It works like an internal pop up, except that the small display in front of the camera move out of the way, it is a light mechanism, really simple, not opened to the exterior and that move a light and small thing.
No reasons to not want it.

And it isn't as simple as that, there is almost only punch holes and notch available, other options are nonexistent, the same thing will happen with underdisplay camera, which is the only reason why I hate it BTW, I don't care what other have on their phone, but something that invade and flood the market directly impact me and every other persons who want something else.
THIS is the issue with this, and it is because it is overhyped and over idealized.

Not such an uncommon thing. Man, we leave data footprint anywhere. If we're going to look at every single footprint we leave, what will life become? A boring, fun-less waste of time
There's no way you can stop this.
I get your point, it's a nice one, it does try and be optimistic, but it's not for me. If someone wants to blackmail me, too bad. Choosing someone from the internet is just the same as choosing someone from the streets

Andreidinutu, 11 Jan 2021Wow, I have a unique name (nobody ever thought of it, since... moreJust think about the fact that it only took few minutes to find you and gather information like approximately where you live, a bit of how your house look like inside, you have a cat, your face which all combined can allow finding out where you live, I also saw a part of your tastes, this could be used to blackmail you.
That's why you should care, there are people who want to hurt other out there, have a lot of free time and the will to use it to enjoy making others suffer.

Again, you have no idea what you are talking about because you are totally oblivious to the dangers and consequences the lack of privacy can cause, so please educate yourself :

I won't explain the relation between all those links, because, there are two type of people :
1: Those who can extrapolate from incomplete data.

Unfortunately ZTE is probably the worst when it comes to updates, so if you care about that stuff, I wouldn't recommend this phone.

AnonD-909757, 11 Jan 2021You mean like how Jeremy Clarkson care you saw an insect in... moreWow, I have a unique name (nobody ever thought of it, since it's quite romanian only, and it's a very odd combination of Andrei and Dinu (both first names), plus its got some changes) and you found me by it on twitter. Such a genius, im so scared for my life. You gave me a scare until I realised that my name isnt used not even on rockstar games (where there are no names left without numbers).
Still, privacy isnt a major thing in this world.

Anonymous, 11 Jan 2021Literally no one cares about PrivacyBecause nobody is smart enough to take 5 minutes of his/her time to check what it is about.
You can already move and go to China or North Korea if you want, like all ignorant who don't know anything about privacy and say it is useless.
The fact there is literally a privacy chief at the United Nations prove that maybe you should reconsider your statement, but it would be like convincing a brick wall that it isn't sentient.
