But if that's not what you want, obviously it isn't worth the price. If you use your PC only for web browsing, do you think that your $2,000 PC is worth the price? In order to evaluate that something is worth the price or not in general, you have to evaluate it from the intended audience's point of view, not your personal point of view.

Wily2021, 14 Jan 2021I’m Intel guy, never owned AMD, so it was safe choice, I’m ... moreIt's highly unlikely that compatibility issues would crop up because of a CPU. If it were amd vs nvidia, then there's a good chance than Nvidia might offer some exclusive advantages. But on the cpu side, it should be mostly rumours.
I have used both intel and amd based CPUs. (Including the original Athlon 64FX, the first core i5, then amd Llano, the first i7 with trigate etc, I never got a bulldozer based processor though). And I've used mostly nvidia gpus though I have bought some amd gpus as well.
Anyway if you are not brand loyal you'd never buy products like pentium 4 or Bulldozer (or piledriver) or Kepler or Kabylake ór Vega 64 or anything intel has released since last 2 years. It just doesn't make sense to get an inferior product for higher, similar or even slightly lower price. Intel is inferior in every way and has to rely on baseless claims to sell their products. Now that Bob Swann has stepped down and an actual engineer is the CEO, we might see some real technological advancement in intel rather that their milking and exploitation.
Either way if you have always been an intel guy, then you shouldn't be saying that you're getting the most out of your money. I understand that you're saying that you need some returns if you spend money on something and your pc is indeed capable of that unlike a rollable which wouldn't have any productive value.
But the thing is, it's not aimed at people who look for productivity.
Remember the original macbook air? It was costly and lacked necessary storage. And it was barely more powerful than a netbook. Early adopters regretted a lot when the premium macbook air replaced the macbook as the budget option. But I still think it was revolutionary.
You can see how popular these anaemic ultrabooks have become just because of the macbook air.
LG just wants to introduce a new concept and would most likely fail miserably. (It would've been a hit had it been released by apple though 😂). So they have to make as much money out of individual units to cover for the R&D expenses. And early adopters are a gold mine (and guinea pigs😫).

So far i haven’t been able to kill the performance, no matter how many effects or synths i use it has great performance and it’s lot better than i would have expected, blazin fast performance all the time. Also people in forums says AMD has compatibility issues with Audio software and plugins and just software crashing. Intel compatibility is great and all the music software just works.

Especially if you're a content creator. Even the previous generation Ryzen (Zen 2) offered much better performance (gaming was an exception because intel still had single threaded performance advantage, though not by much), and the current generation Zen 3 absolutely destroys anything that intel has got. Intel has also become notorious for the ever increasing number of hardware level security vulnerabilities.
Rollable phones are indeed at an early stage and might not even become a hit just like what happened to modular phones, but early adoptions like this usually are expensive and they expect only a few models to sell. They have to make up for the losses for R&D from those few models being sold (rather than make a profit). In fact the early adopters are guinea pigs. But still for those who are willing to buy it, it might be worth it, as long as they don't make baseless claims or lie to the customers (like intel does all the time).
