That's not to say that S21U is a bad device, of course, but Xiaomi makes better phones than you think they do.

Phones with the SD865+ were the first to support WiFi 6E. The FastConnect 6900 was introduced with that revision and supports 6GHz as per Qualcomm themselves.
Also, Nonacell pixel binning is nothing new. It was introduced last year.
Pretty underwhelming launch but I like the customization options. These phones are launching for less than the S20 series did (200CAD less) which is great but still another 200$ above their true value, especially without any expandable storage

The Xiaomi is looking to be the best flagship so far with wqhd+, highest brightness, a better camera system than the mi ultra which was the best last year, ip68 for those who want it, fastest charging and wireless charging, AMAZING speakers..OH BOY. Well idk if Xiaomi sells well in American markets but in EU and Asian markets they'll definitely exceed the sales of the s21 series

They do not refuse clients just to keep best they make just for Samsung Mobile.
If they do not sell, OEMs are gonna buy from someone else.
Mobile has zero power over it ..
OP and Oppo used samsung oled with bandwith and mipi lane enough for 120Hz and QHD same time. Samsung Mobile did not have it, own choice ...

Once upon a time phones were all in black, true black, only few were whites. Then they started introducing colors that no one likes, but people didn't care much due to the usage of cases necessitated by thin metal or fragile glass backs.
Now they are introducing black again and explaining to us that anything they add will make the black not true black. Funny world we are in.

It does not restrict part of sensor used. It is not like FF in Apsc mode.
Otherwise , professional cameras would do same instead of giant lenses and teleconverters.
Using 3x zoom from the 108MP is gonna give worse result than 12MP from same camera at shorter distance between phone and subject.
Why do you think the super steady video mode cant record 4K? It is 2x zoom from ultra wide, which turn 4K into 1080p.
Why do you think those phones that at night use 2x digital zoom instead of "2x zoom camera" has very soft and low quality photos?
When any OEM says you can use digital zoom without quality loss, it is lie.

It might be a great phone but it´s funnny how they manage their fans:
-V50 supports 4k60 on all the cameras: gimmick
-V60 supports pens:gimmick
-Xperia has 21w fast charging: bad, should be 35-50w
Ahhhhhhhh and sd card slot. Now AvErAgE CoNsUmErS will have top storage on Drive, Dropbox, MEGA etc.

By the way, the "3x" camera is a 68mm equivalent camera and as it only has 10 megapixels, it will theoretically capture slightly less detail from distant objects than Apple's 65mm equivalent camera.

A 3x crop of a 108 megapixel sensor does have 12 megapixels, so no need to upscale. So if it was lossless, the 10 megapixel 3x camera would actually behave worse. So it's surely not lossless and the reason is the different color filter array.

Note that due to diffraction the 10 megapixel 245mm equivalent camera won't capture more detail than an 8 megapixel camera. So why has Samsung chosen a 10 megapixel sensor? Maybe there was no 8 megapixel dual pixel sensor available.

In the end, it is just stretching the photo , which degrades quality.
Easy way to prove.
Take a photo of something 2m away.
Then step back and use zoom until you can see same amount of scene in the screen, then take photo.
First one will be way much better.

Idk my dudes this is just super unimpressive and has no wow factor and considering the price the iPhone triumphs by a margin, might as well just wait for the mi 11 pro considering it will have everything from faster charging to better display than this

Surely not true as Quad/Nona Bayer sensors don't capture as much detail as Bayer sensors. If it was lossless, then of course 10 megapixel 3x would have less detail.

Without expandable memory NO BUY. My media content is too big for even the S21 Ultra 16 GB + 512 GB: 1.439 euros phone... LOL Pay that much and even lack of expandable memory? I though that it was only a thing of the overpriced iPhones...
Now Scamsung is like Apple and training Carriers comercials to avoid mention the removed features and accesories to fool potential buyers. Not mention the lack of expansable memory ehhhh, also the lack of microSD slot, the lack of charger inside the box, the lack of a proper optical zoom in several models, the downgrades displays, the plastic back in one of them. Shut up!!!!
