If the s21 is just cheaper by $100 at $699, it would embarass the pixel 5 in every way and kick google in the teeth with its sorry ass effort.

Downgrade from 1440p+ to 1080p+: Check✓
Downgrade to not expandable storage: Check✓
Downgrade to ugly colour options: Check✓
Downgrade to no charger in the box: Check✓
Same fake 3x telephoto lens: Check✓
Same no 3.5mm headphone jack: Check✓
Same extraordinary high price tag: Check✓

I mean, if you're losing an expandable storage, WQHD+ panel from last year's S20+ and glass back as well for the regular S20, I won't even dare to call this a modest "upgrade". I also hate that Samsung is now openly trying to trick people into thinking that those two phones have a 3x dedicated telephoto lens by saying it has a "3x" 64MP camera, when in fact its merely a secondary wide angle camera with ever so slightly narrower field of view. Heck, it's not even a lossless 3x zoom anyway since the actual digital zoom that don't incur a loss in resolution is only available up to 2.3x, and beyond that is a pure upscaling. Overall, rather disappointing specs and marketing from Samsung. Still solid phones, though.

Flagship are meant to be kept for 3-4 years and those who does this will feel the difference...
These phones are not supposed to contain huge upgrades every year bcoz only tiny percentage of ppl purchase flagship every year...

In my country, we had 12gb variant for both S21 & S21+. No 8gb ram, or 128gb storage. We get sole 12gb ram & 256gb storage version for both S21 & S21+. Maybe becoz we get the exynos version here. The Ultra is same with US, 12gb ram with 256gb storage, & 16gb ram with 512gb storage.

So let me get this straight:
- no power adapter included
- worse screen resolution than S20 series
- overheating and inefficient Snapdragon 888 inside
The S21 is basically a downgrade on last years models.

This may sound silly but I'm going to buy this because of how gorgeous the design is. Great camera and performance is also guaranteed. I think that's more than enough for me.

Samsung Galaxy S21+ 5G comes with 64 MP, f/2.0, 28mm (telephoto), Samsung Galaxy S6 had 16 MP, f/1.9, 28mm (wide), 1/2.6", 1.12µm, AF, OIS, this means it only had a telephoto camera, NO regular camera! what a SHAME!SUNG!!!

Before anyone keeps whining about the use of plastic instead of glass, the only issue of using it is charging the price of a plastic-back phone as much as glass one would. Other than that, plastic is more advantageous than glass.
As far as other features of the lineup goes, I don't think any one of the phomes are outstanding. Just wait till the note 20 ultra prices get slashed or better yet the mi 11 looks to be more solid.
