They would still do worse even without covid. But Samsung will never admit. Anyway.
They now need to earn back this money. Basically 21/21+ are same phone with new CPU and screens. Plastic for 21.
This is what vivo and oppo do to many devices to same cost.
Change one, two or five pieces; new name.

Is it just me or the S21 series are just "Meh..."? Cause, that's how I'm feeling about it right now. I'm not hating on it nor excited for it. It's just there.

The funny thing is that they are training comercials to not mention the lack of features and accesories, basically to fool people that bought previous models and believe that they are getting a better value updated instead a downgraded phones in several ways.
Comercials!!!!! Don't mention the lack of expandable memory, the lack of charger and earbuds inside the box, the plastic back, the downgraded display, oh and tell people that the jack is something of the past. Well, bettter not mention it too. Of course also not mention the 1.1x optical zoom, thell them that we have a Space Zoom!!!! Tell people that it's cheaper!!! (false, if you look what you lose is more expensive).
Comercials!!!!! ON GUARD!!!! Go and wash the brain of potential buyers!!!!

vrvly, 14 Jan 2021Multiframe image processing, hope sony watch this.If you are saying about imaging stacking (merging frames of different exposures) usually called HDR, the Photo Pro has it.
You can choose between DRO and HDR, just like the Cybershots have.
DRO (Dynamic Range Optimizer) = lift shadows, single frame, can be used with burst mode and moving subjects.
HDR = multiframe stacking , cannot be used for motion (reason why the app blocks the burst mode when HDR is on).
Sony does not make HDR work 100% of the time like other do. That is the difference. You need to force using Photo Pro (you can leave all on auto and just turn on HDR).
Brands have started to use HDR on all the time because of dxomark score. Same reason many now come with 4K video default instead of Full HD.
Turn off HDR on any phone, exposure will be huge issue. No matter the device. Simple !!

Its joke they downgraded phone no sd card no charger and pay more. Worst resolution than my s10+ worst phone only camera better. Thats why didnt changed for s20+ was waiting for s21+ .. what to buy now waterproof with sd card and best camera heh so annoying. I dont want ultra is too big

Nagen, 14 Jan 2021Does it have an SD expansion slot?None of them. Also downgraded displays and plastic back in one of them. No charger inside the box. So in you add all the result is pay practically the same for less. What a joke. Also lossless zoom yeah, no telephoto optical lens... What a shit.
