Ban or no ban, for me, I can't use an Apple product just for the name, I need value for money. I can't switch to Sam_snug, most midrange OLEDs are not up to the task, and their charging speed is just mediocre, they are also comparatively expensive with weak specs. So, where does this leave me? China. I can't switch to any other brand, with China I stand. 🇨🇳

Worse things from Mu®der to r^pe to d®ug dealings have been carried out on Facebook, Instagram etc... Were these social media Giants banned? They failed to moderate these things as well.
If someone threatens someone else on the phone, the phone companies aren't responsible for what the users do. Same way Parler shouldn't be held responsible "if" such a thing happened.
These big tech companies just want to keep their monopoly.

I understand why USA is banning Huawei as Huawei is directly linked to the CCP government and developing own 5G infrastructure. But Xiaomi is just obediently using the American brands Snapdragon and already clarify that they are not linked with CCP. So this is unfair to Xiaomi

Even if their concerns abt social media giants having too much control on free speech and politics are true, Trump's twitter ban was because he violated the TOS (which can't be changed, anyone who violates the TOS will be banned), his Facebook ban decision was made by the higher ups (Mark Zuckerberg). Parler's ban by Google, Apple, Apple was because they refused to moderate its content (they could have done so, why didn't they?)
