Plus election manipulation and meddling by tech companies should invite long imprisonments and fines in the billions.

All counties should start regulating the big technology platforms. They've become more powerful than governments and have absolutely no accountability. Plus, they indulge in tax frauds worth trillions, by giving donations to political parties, and getting tax benefit legislations drafted, specifically for them.

I know this is not an easy discussion with also major risks, but I enjoy at least one government (except China) setting strict guidelines. And indian govt. seems to represent citicens rights far better than china. correct me if I'm wrong, I'm sure Indians have flaws in their system too

Indian government will do anything to make money for themselves. They will start an Indian App with ads and premium features to start making money. India is slowly becoming like china and we start need to put our foot down ans use what we want to use.

I created a Facebook account around 6 months ago.
It was suggestion friends to me that weren't even friends of friends.
But these suggestions were genuinely people I've known from years back.
How did it know?
Whatsapp data collection is my guess.
I removed Facebook almost right away.
I deleted my Whatsapp account last week.

Well why? From what I have heard, this thing was going on for a while and just now they wanted to make it more clear/public. Maybe because of the lawsuits they get these days.

Only problem is these apps lack whatApp pay which is kinda smart and easier wallet integrated into the app.
