ohh lol, a dual core did better than quad.. which means the extra money u've paid for that quad cpu is a waste because its just a commercial purposes... some dual cpu's are way faster than quad... just take it as a note guys... quad is not always the best!

Krait dualcore cpus don't come close to this quadcore. Also the gpu benchmarks for gl benchmark Egypt is double on the quadcore exynos than on the S4.

John, 03 Sep 2012The sony specs are awesome and defiantly ahead of the SGS3.... moreKinda agree, I really liked the original Note, esp the s-pen is great, and on Note II everything gotten better. But the screens are too big for me, even the Xperia T is too big, so im waiting for Xperia V (4.3 inch 1280x720).

Yani, 06 Sep 2012Wasn't gonna post, because I'm not interested in such huge ... moreGo for Sony, i had HTC and changed to Sony Ericsson because of HTCs laggy and highly unstable Sense. HTC is champ in design and eye candy, but dont care about stability and reliability. Also, HTC have traditionally used bad loudspeakers and their cams always had flaws, for example..

Going from HTC to SonyEricsson was like coming out of a black hole, finally i had an Android phone that i could trust, never again woke up too late for work in the morning to find a frozen HTC by the bed that needed battery removal before booting up. HTC on Facebook once posted "what app would you like to see for your HTC smartphone?". A considerable number of HTC owners replied "a no hang app" or "a no freeze app". And fixes? After 2 years there is still no fix for the freeze issue of my HTC.

                But what are u smoking?!
                Didn't you understand the graphs?
Tests show that even tho Sony used only dual-core CPUs they are better, than quad-core exynos chips inside SGS3 and Note2, in every aspect!
That said I think my next phone might be a Sony or HTC.
Never gonna buy a Samsung phone ever again, because they produce laggy phones and never release a real fix.
I have SGS1 witn SlimICS (stripped down ICS)+best kernel+V6 SuperCharger scripts and it's still not super smooth like an iPhone.
And that's why I call them Scamsung! Because customers get scammed into buying their phones with super nice hardware and laggy software.
But I like Touchwiz's UI, because it looks like iPhone OS, but sadly laggs like hell.

Sony is so late in tech. While other manufacturer introduced dual core they still use single core and quad core now will be launching 1/2 months they still use the old dual core krait. Nvr believe sony. My last sony is x10x.

I Guess bunch of school kids might have got impressed here. Xperia phones runs on the same processor as the htc one x and the us version of s3...quadcore s3 beaten them. So what happened here? What did Sony do? Simple, why don't you try some of the benchmark app like Antutu. You will notice people with ridiculous scores with slower phones. It's not difficult to cheat through the benchmark app. Qualcomm never beaten exynos processor in real world experience from the beginning. Try testing these devices once they are out.

Samsung lost this war by trio from Sony!

                        Xperia T rulez!

BTW don't say the HTC results are old. It has to be old. You can't compare phone which has not been released yet and phone who got update with some improvements. Be FAIR! fanboys...

Sony: There's a storm coming, Mr. Samsung. You and your products better batten down the hatches, because when it hits, you're all gonna wonder how you ever thought you could live so large and leave so little for the rest of us :)

The sony specs are awesome and defiantly ahead of the SGS3. However, i think that when your benchmarks are at the level of the S3, Note 2, Xperia T the difference in real life would be barely noticeable.

I didn't get a SGS3 because the screen was so small compared with my Note, the Xperia T screen is even smaller so its not on my list.

For me the best phone is the note 2. For someone else it will be the Xrepia T.... i think there are too many 15 year old geeks here who look at benchmarks and little else :-)

The Quadrant benchmarks by gsmarena for Note II and Note II LTE are different with a big margin, where the former scored 5121 while the later scored 5942! if both phones have the same SoC why performance is different??
Also the other two benchmarks (Pi and NenaMark 2) show opposite results with Note II being slightly better than Note II LTE. I have some doubts about the results...any explanation gsmarena??
