if Biden lifts Huawei ban on smartphones Samsung will become not second, but third player in the market in merely 3 months and their smartphone business revenue will drop 30%. The level of innovation they added last 3 years cumulated with double the price makes them deserve to be the third player, and sooner or later this shift will inevitably happen.

I don't know where else to post a comment like this, but I wish samsung would release a new series of phones, Galaxy C series which stands for crowd-pleaser. Phones in this series are built to be used without a cover or case for protection, so the back is "plastic" or polycarbonate, and a Sapphire crystal display (It's not a cheap phone) and sides that wont get damaged if the phone is dropped. Also the phone can be as thick as the internals require with no camera bump. I think no one would mind that trade off.
Also, there won't be any of the new trends such as multiple cameras, asymmetrical stereo speakers, notch, wireless charging, no 3.5mm jack etc. It's all old school goodness; 1 camera ONLY with amazing quality, a huge battery, powerful front facing stereo speakers, 18.5:9 ratio 6.2-6.5" display (16:9 would be short with the buttons in-screen), a reliable SOC, and of course a 3.5mm jack and expandable storage.
If only that was possible instead of companies going against satisfying customers with silly trends...

Samsung keep on selling craps (poor Processor) at high price in all markets except US/Korea and expecting people to buy...very bad.

i think huawei comes on top of all Chinese brands when it comes to quality but nowadays I'd be dumb to spend a 1000$ on a phone with limited use i just could never live without google service but atst i can understand why that many people can! so it depends on your reliance on it

Those who voted for preorder S21 plus are just completely Samsung blind fan and lied about preordering.
The 21 plus won't sell even a million units(until the price drops)

So, the new Exynos is not really competition for Snapdragon 888 yet again. Also plastic back on regular Galaxy S21 really grinds my gears. Plastic back on a 800+ € phone. It just feels wrong on so many levels and I literally don't care if plastic may have good properties in some cases. It's a disappointment. Base S21 is just too expensive for having plastic back and S21+ is just too expensive full stop.
