Samsung builds all Apple LCDs. I think it is about time they stop these monopolizing morons by refusing to provide the LCDs. Let's see how an Apple device works without an LCD.

-siri ... moreDude...seriously, know what you're talking about & do some research before commenting. You keep repeating things already demonstrated as wrong in this blog and adding even more ridiculous rubbish - its embarrassing!
Where to begin.....
- siri = svoice: svoice based on vlingo which was on Samsung phones years before Apple bought Siri (they didn't invent it). And the Chinese company who did invent core ideas and programming as used in Siri is now suing Apple.
- multitouch : LG Prada and Nokia well before Apple, and multi touch invented in 1977!
- shake : app developers started using accelerometers for this in their apps, not Apple.
- icons : Nokia had them on phones, when colour screens first came out in 90's, and many other phones since.
- rectangular with rounder corners : oh ummm.... just about every mobile phone ever invented! Seriously, think about it...
- touchscreen : don't even want to dignify this with an answer except to say touch screens are older then you are, and around years before even laptops were invented.
- first with wifi : You can't be serious??
- home botton : I won't dignify this with an answer
- memory choices (16,32,64 GB storage choices) : this is memory size, based on technology development by science and computer memory manufacturers like...oh! Samsung! Enforced technology restriction that everyone has to follow - it's not some magic numbers that Apple thought up.
- dropbox = icloud : firstly dropbox is Google not Samsung. Second it is a way to store and sync all your files, not just music, pics, etc..
- background page : mobile's have had customizable backgrounds since colour screens started on phones.
- water wave : wtf ?
- screen lock : is as old as the mobile phone. Slide to unlock was first on old windows phone
- menu short cuts (4 apps): Nokia been using 4 customisable menu shortcuts since early 2000's.

I'm not a Samsung fan. I value tech objectively and use what I find is best at the time. I respect Apple (Steve Jobs) for their vision in combining all this tech and ideas INVENTED and DEVELOPED by OTHERS and put it everyone's hands in a easy to use way.
However others have done similar before. And now others are raising the stakes beyond Apples vision ... shock horror! Oh, wait a minute...isn't that called innovation?
All the Tech companies copy each other - it well past time to move on from this tired argument!

I dont know why you people still dont ... moreIt's been 'proven' in just one country. All other countries where Apple sued - Japan, Germany, Belgium, China, Australia - have disagreed and Apple lost.
There was a lot of evidence the courts would not allow Samsung to submit.
Not sure this outcome is as totally DEFINITIVE as you imply. Or are you suggesting that all the other courts got it wrong?

I thinks this is new market strategy of apple to recover its loses of market share. After Steve jobs they don't think that they can produce something extra ordinary to take it back from samsung, so they are trying to recover money form Steve's era.

why would apple sue samsung only for the design? Phone buyers are not fool that they don't see the difference between these phones eventhough they look similar in shape. what the!! We won't buy samsung phones just because we thought it's an iphone just because of the physical appearance. Those who sue samsung are fools and LOOSERS!! Playing dirty, thinks like a child. zzzz
