Compared to having a phone to fully charged in hours .. i used to have a phone with 6000mah battery with 18w charger... it was pain to wait for 3 to 4 hours .. of course I get 12 - 13 sot but it is not worth it especially when charge during night time because it will be overcharged when I go to bed .. and the 6000mah capacity will become useless in no time.

i0S...Never...Again, 27 Jan 2021Who said you can't have bigger capacity and faster cha... moreThere are many who are so obsessed with fast charging that they justify putting a tiny battery for the fast charging sake.
Then there are those doing exactly what you just did, saying 4000mAh is enough and 4500 is big, which legitimate stopping the increase of batteries size.
                I couldn't care less about fast charging, give me a 5v 1A adapter and I won't complain.

The Galaxy M51 who has 7000mAh is 9.5mm thick, not 10mm or above, AND, what is the problem with that?
Many actually do want thicker devices, in fact there are quite a few people who have trouble handling super slim devices.
If anything, the perfect thickness would be around 12mm, from that point, it quickly becomes too thin and too thick, it should be the average, that's literally the average thickness of a finger, which is natural to hold onto.
Think about it, considering a TV remote is basically a flat board, why is it thick as it is and not 5mm slim?
Answer, because it has been built with ergonomic in mind, ease of comfort and pleasant grip, NOT because of a mindless trend.
The same apply for EVERYTHING, car steering wheel, computer mouse, any weapon, any power tools, regardless if it is large and tall like a phone or narrow like a screwdriver, the part meant for handling have ALWAYS been thick enough, only smartphones, who do a LOT of other things wrong (like holes in the display, or curves in the wrong direction on the display) are making super slim this obsessive.
Once you go past the "cool/trend" factor, there is absolutely no reasons that most phones are sub 10mm, only drawbacks, including for the user's hand.

And NO, do NOT talk about the Energizer phone, yes it is way too thick, anything above 15mm is probably too thick for most, but it isn't different from the Oppo R5 who was equally too thin and was a pure failure because of that, extremes are extremes.
                But 10mm isn't a problem.
So far I've seen more people saying that people don't like the handling of phones like the Lenovo Legion, Asus Zenfone 7, LG Wing, Asus ROG phone etc, than actual people saying they don't like it.
The exact same way there are more people talking about pop up failures than actual pop up experiencing failures.
We live in a world where reviewers will say it is thick heavy and uncomfortable without even having held it once in their hand, because it is the pre-conceived idea, but truth is, there are much thicker and heavier objects we can hold for hours without any issues, which is exactly what people working with power tools do.

So stop about this ultra-thin smartphone obsession, the smartphone industry is already messed up enough with almost everything being basically the opposite of what they should be.

Is it me? Or does the camera island remind you a bit like the S20 ultra but rotated... And its not a bad thing. Its one of the more neater implementations. Im currently using the Mi Note 10 and the camera arrangement is a mess.

oladi, 27 Jan 20214000mah? Failed With hard use, I can get around 8 hours SOT and 17 hours combined use from my Mi 9 with 3300mah and on mobile data full time. With its 5nm processor, 4000mah and MIUI 12.5, I reckon the Mi 11 can easily get past 10 hours SOT. For me, that can comfortably get through 1 day with hard use, 1.5 to 2 days with moderate use.
I am concerned about battery wear from constant fast charging as well, so I usually only charge my phone up to 80%. I only charge to 100% when I know I will be away from any power outlet for extended time i.e. out of town site visits. Sometimes, for overnight charging I use my wife's Iphone XR 5W charger.

4000mah maybe small by today's standard but it's still better than iPhones which come with sub 3700mah juice.
4500mah is pretty adequate and already supports 120W charging.
Anything above 6000mAh significantly pushes the thickness around 10mm.

Camera island of the Mi 11 is beautiful. Influenced by it, Ben Geskin render is also equally beautiful, but this is just ugly. Hopefully its design will be more inline with vanilla Mi 11.

I didn't buy the Poco F2 Pro (and it is now too old and price have skyrocketed) and I want my next phone to have no constantly there front facing camera, regardless if it is pop up, slider, second display on the back, flip up, removable wireless main camera, or just no front camera at all without specific compensation for it, but there is no real options out there.
