AnonD-731363, 28 Jan 2021No matter where Apple production will move every single com... moreActually, aside from screws and a couple of other small parts, very little if any iPhone parts are are made in China, most of the parts are manufactured in S Korea, Taiwan and USA, and the percentage of iPhones that are assembled in China, All the parts are shipped to China and the phones are assembled in China.

TSMC, Samsung and other FABS are opening there, at first assembly then slowly as companies realize that they can get labor, natural resources and talent from India at that point China will get sweaty.

But there's always Chinese components in the gadgets, no matter what you buy. Asia would easily survive without US.! The US doesn't even cover 1/3 of the world. Asia does.

Vietnam is the country where the Google Pixel is builded. If they make Apple screens like they make G.Pixel screens, then we're going to see a lack of sensitivity on the sides. Cheap is expensive.
