IDC: Smartphone sales return to growth in Q4, Apple takes the lead

Despite the strong end of the year, 2020 smartphone shipments declined by roughly 6% compared to 2019 values.

IPhone always scores more in Q4 2020 due to newer iPhones launched during that period. The sales drop in the rest of the quarters.
Real star of the show in 2020 is Xiaomi. That growth rate despite the pandemic is super impressive. Easily the smartphone manufacturer of the Year.
