M50x with DAC-AMP, Anker Soundcore TWS, AKG and a secondary Meridian wired in-ear, HD 598SR, last the most costliest one but the one which sounds the worst Bose Qc35. I also have few which I have but don't use.. Mee Audio m6 pro, a gaming headphone from steel series and sennheiser Px80s. My faves are M50x, it has very bad sound stage, but I love the in your face sharp and melodic sound.

You could have done better with the form factor

These small ones exist as in-ear (e.g. AirPods Pro) and earbuds (e.g. AirPods)

Both are available as wireless or wired

      (wired In-Ear: urBeats,
      wired earbuds: EarPods)

TWS doesn‘t make sense because it already answers the question of in-ear/earbuds, and if you use truly wireless in-ears, which option would you have to choose? It doesnt make sense. You should have taken TWS out and replaced it with earbuds.

You can read about headphones on Rtings.com if you want more knowledge.

Mine is budget on ear Sony wired headphones. Works great even after six years. Waiting for my SkullCandy Crusher Evo witch is over ear with huge bass. It works both wired and wireless. If you have 200 dollars and if you don't want to pay more go for it.

Own a pair of over-ear monitoring headphones and in-ear IEMs. Pretty sure I'll stick to wired unless there's absolutely no companies make them. Those paired with V30's quad Dac sounds amazing for a phone.

Anonymous, 31 Jan 2021Calling the earpod an on-ear is a bit of a stretch. Sure it... moreThat was the term GSMArena used in the polls, so I stuck with that for the sake of consistency.

I just want people to try every style and connection out, and decide which product(s) suits them best. And then, for them to have the freedom to purchase it at a reasonable price. It feels like we've jumped the shark ever since 2017.

You have to use third-part apps like XRecorder to leverage the Bluetooth audio for screen recording. It's a bit of a hassle I must admit, but at least it gets the job done.

Apple AirPods 2 I bought for $60 brand new from OfferUp the other day. Too bad AirPods are disposable once the battery is shot. They're still fantastic. Love them. Don't need headphone jack ever again although I own 5 of my 7 phones that still has it.

For games and lag free experience I use Sony xb55 wired earphones, for wireless I'll use oppo enco m31 neckband and redmi earbuds S tws. The reason I bought oppo is for great music quality over wireless and the option to skip tracks without using the phone.

I have a few types of headphones, usually budget ones.
TWS, Haylou GT1 are most convenient. No cable, light, in ear and I use those mostly for music.
Sennheiser MX 375 I use for music, Youtube and conversation as those don't go much in ear.
Superlux HD 681 are for music, movies and when I need better sound quality.
I also have JBL T110 and Philips SHE 3850.
If I have to chose just one pair it would be SHE 3850 as all-around. And for two pairs I would go for Haylou and Superlux.
TWS are most convenient but bad call quality and latency makes those useless for anything but music. Unless you have one with good microphone to use for calls.
For video and gaming I would always go with wires.

I was never happy with wireless earphone. Because its requirement of charging it was irritating. I was using neck band bluetooth. But when i use TWS earphone it is worth to upgrade. I have heard some extra beats of music and truly stereo and digital sound. Its change my opinion about Bluetooth earphone.

i use xm4s, mostly wireless but i use them wired if they're connected to my quest 2. This is mostly so that beatsaber is timed properly because otherwize expert+ is impossible.

For me TWS is very convenient now and as seen by poll ,no doubt its the reality...i dont like wired ones with wires hanging around ...tws is much better doing workouts and also easy to carry..i am not a sound geek ,so decent audio output is enough for me

Huawei AM-115 at the office for phone calls, Tronsmart Onyx Ace (in ear buds) or TaoTronics TT-85 (over ear) for entertainment.
Enough for me. I won't spend more the 100$ on headphone even if I can. I'm no audiophile and headphone are prone to breaking/be lost/wear battery to spend to much money on them and be worth it more.
I did spend some time and money testing several similar budget ones until I stopped on these models...

being a normal user... i use a particular headphone depending on situation... and phone (most of the time, i use wireless on my xz2 compact... but with v50s, ofc it should be wired for best audio experience)
on ear is more classic and quite comfortable, if i need to hear ambient sound, this is the must for me...
in ear is more immersive, so good for self isolation ha ha... even those without noise cancellation that comes with my xperia sounds good... and better used on v50s for the quad dac...
over the ear... it just needs to have noise cancellation for immersive audio, but i seldom use this...
tws is good when i need to do some physical work...

if i am going to rank them base on my usage it would be -
                                  1 on ear
                                  2 in ear
                                  3 tws
                                  4 over the ear

they are all good... just buy what serves you...

Just ignore fools like that notafanboy guy who think he knows everything. Even with my Xiaomi phone running Android 11, I still cannot do screen recording while using my Bluetooth earbuds. I have to switch it off and use my wired earphone to do it.

Bluetooth audio quality and latency has improved greatly but to not worry about charging another peripheral and taking the audio directly especially if it's LG with a DAC, you can't beat that quality. I mean, sure, many genres of music don't call for it but I listen to metal. Metal sounds EPIC via FLAC/DAC combo.
