It really shows how he is marketing more for iphone especially at the end of the video it shows that he is marketing for some syuff to sell for the iphone 12 so this kind of testing isnt that reliable

Glass back are no doubt looks gorgeous but I'm pretty people will still use cases that will cover the entirety of the back of the phone so instead of designing gorgeous back of the phone why don't manufacturers slaps their "innovative designs" on cases smh

As I was saying, I hate glass back phones. Best smartphone era is between 2013-2016. Bought myself a $30 Nexus 5 yesterday and it's in 9.5/10 condition. Phones just a 5-8 years ago were built so much better.

The galaxy has two screen protectors on it as shown on a teardown video. The galaxy has been wrecked from 6ft drops on other videos..only one that really survived was the standard one due to its plastic back.

If you forget about plastic Samsung is better in all aspects. They should go for metal and glass design.

I’m interested in looking at for myself, but more so my 3 teenage sons.
Is there a link or web address to access these and what models of phones are covered (1st and 2nd gen) as we all have different phones.

I agree. With a case, I don't expect those results. If I drop it on a rock, front first, victus will crack, and let's not get into rugged phones, coz am yet to see a conventional manufacturer use sapphire or higher on the display.

You can also see how damage is visible. For example black painted aluminium frame when scratched looks horrible. Where silver aluminium frame is far less sensitive. Or if plastic phone back is painted plastic or solid color. Which matters, because painted usually looks horrible when scratched, but scratched solid plastic doesn't, because under the scratch, it's just more of the same color since it's solid colored plastic. Or the bend test. May or may not be useful, but you know how rugged the construction is if you sit on it on sofa or how ppl wear it in back jeans pocket...
