It's very hard to compare anything android with apple products cause there are just too much of the android products from all types of price ranges with all types of features. You basically can get a smartwatch for even 20 euro that will please your needs of what your looking for from the watch

I fallow dots to unlock my phone screen even tough i have face unlock and fingerprint reader. I dont want to have my finger prints registrated in my phone that probably is a info that can leak online and can harm me. Same for the face unlock. The less info i have on my phone the better for me. While i am not paranoid about it but still old habits.

Chemist83, 02 Feb 2021Unless you already have one. Or you can buy a brand new iPh... moreno it says u need an Apple watch that is password secured, unlocked, on your wrist and then u recieve a haptic feedback notification saying it unlocked with FaceID. oh and it also needs to detect a face mask. but i do agree its more of a convenience thing, but it kind of takes away the "convenience" part of it when u need to meet all these requirements for it to work tbh or that's just me idk

AnonD-973296, 02 Feb 2021OR they can put touchID sensor behind the apple logo on the backUnless you already have one. Or you can buy a brand new iPhone when they have both Touch ID and Face ID. Or you can be an anti masker. Nobody if forcing you to buy the watch. It's just a more convenient feature.

Meanwhile, the 2D face recognition almost never failed me, and I would have love to get a 3D one to get higher security and use it on every app rather than pattern/code or fingerprint.

Apple with a half-baked solution to a problem they created. This is why they should've stuck to fingerprint scanners
Imagine paying a thousand bucks for a phone, and having to use pin unlock likes it 2010 🤣🤣🤣

It was stupid of Apple to remove the fingerprint sensor from their phones entirely.

Unb1453d, 02 Feb 2021Have u ever tried the latest Android watches? Oh right, u h... moreSame could be said for all the Apple haters who screech and whine with all sort of BS about iPhones. Only difference is they are pretending like they actually know a damn thing even though they actually never tried one. But if you haven't noticed, I said it's what I heard. I wasn't pretending it's what I know and I actually said that. Notice the frigging difference?

You just have to buy a watch, set a password, unlock the watch and then you can use your phone!
...or you could get a phone with a fingerprint reader.

It's what I keep hearing about Android watches for years. Usually because of outdated underwhelming chipsets in them. Granted, I never used one, but it's what I keep hearing. I use Apple Watch 5 and the experience is just outstanding. Everything smooth, seamless connection with phone, huge selection of apps that can be installed even on watch. I pretty much bought it out of curiosity because I already had iPhone and absolutely love it.
