04 February 2021
That's the very same phone as the vivo S7, but with a Mediatek SoC.

And the answer is no.

Andriodman, 05 Feb 2021Or you can get a cheap Redmi 10x Pro 5G almost a year old !!But that still remains a China-only model to this day. And with the recent news of Xiaomi banning GMS installation on China-only phones, that won't be an easy ride.

This notch should've died in 2018.

The notch is better than punch hole IMO. I find punch hole obtrusive.

Dimensity 820 is the best mid range chip out there, much better than its cousin Dimensity 800U. Unfortunately, I doubt many will be paying 400$ for Dimensity 820 when Snapdragon 865 devices are available at that price.

                        300$ max for this

I'm currently a Vivo user (Vivo 1920, it's called V17 in my area, different from the indian V17). What I hate more about Vivo phones is not their cameras, definitely not their screens, definitely not their performance tweaking, DEFINITELY NOT their insanely OP battery management software with huge cells.

                          It's their phone naming.

...another mid-range phone with a retro style screen (notch)...maybe next time Vivo....

Vivo is still behind with colors, but processing of detail is way above.

                                what this phone needed

                                Single 48 MP rear camera

Single selfie camera with punch hole

                                4500 mah battery

                                90Hz display

                                  Not interested ☹️

i still don't get why they even put useless cameras, when the price isat least 400 usd
8mp is also useless compared to the main camera

Dimensity 820? Sounds interesting. There are a lot of Snapdragon 765G-powered smartphones out there, but not many with Dimensity chipset.
