04 February 2021
The Nokia 2.2, 5.3 and 8.1 should be fast-tracked to Android 11.

Sort by:

They should focus more on compititive specs and price
And cutdown the numbers on phone in series that will also ease the software update program
9/10- flagship
8- value flagship
7&6- upper and lower mid range

They are quite small company that cannot say it is stable with a good backup money resources. Such situations as this "pandemic" could even make them file for bankruptcy, the fact that they are still kicking is actually a joy, minding their high investment rates and low profit margins.

Carol, 04 Feb 2021As a Finn you would know hmd global are not chinese,And as Finn, you got to admit the long pride and joy of 'Nokia' phones are long gone... The only tease they should be doing is better product, and let the user have the choice of unlocking their bootloader. Right now HMD is:

              1) Doing poorly in distribution
              2) Doing poorly in product line up with way out of market spec and price and knowingly they "HMD" is not Nokia and has no longer the brand reputation for them to do so
              3) Is focusing in Chinese market

Whether they are Chinese or not is not even relevant. They are so far off with the old Nokia ideology, it simply dragging the past prime and reputation through the mud.

Carol, 04 Feb 2021As a Finn you would know hmd global are not chinese,Does it really matter when all the phones are built in the factories of China by the workers of Chinese ? And what about 2020 was a bad year ? Well it was a bad year for everyone but all still managed and had no hickups like HMD have. Like the start of the 2020 they blame everything for the beer virus. It's like ok for them to make up excuses. Other brands dont make up excuses like these and especially when they try to be a premium brands

Yeah, how big is it? I do have a 1.5Gb update on my Nokia, ..exciting... But I leave in Uganda and these weirdos have shut down the ability to download any update of any kind, the Americans say that Trump was a dictator, right now we in Uganda feel insulted by that notion, people have no idea what a dictator is. These fools make Trump look like Santa.

There are just slow in terms of releasing phones, also releases phones with last year's hardware. They disappointed me.

What about Nokia 6.1 plus ?

iOS-.Never-.Again, 04 Feb 2021Does anyone even buy Nokia anymore? Yeah I do when they offer a good deal , I have no brand loyalty...just who's cheapest at the time.

Got bored of iPhone and Samsung galaxy range , even though I still have one, my current phone is the plastic fantastic pixel 3a XL.

Not everyone's cuppa, but for a work phone it does the job, seeing as I've already had 1 iPhone get stolen.
