        Real glass lenses (real Zeiss, not just calibrated by Zeiss like phones use).

        No sharpening.
        No soft edges.
        No yellow skin.
        No brown sky if longer exposure used.
        No blueish gray clouds.
        No orange cast under artificial light.

          Apple has the worst Ultrawides among flagships. No wonder reviewers hardly mention quality on that sensor and just say that camera quality is good when only main camera can give usable enough images.

            - Please no, its a matter of sensor size differences, sensor & lens quality used, youre just exxagarating. Yes, oversharpening used to overcome the hardware limitation, but nowadays ISP on smartphone improving overtime, such as BM3D method that makes noise lower without smudging much, so less sharpening used.

Modern sensors with 20-108mp sensors don't have detail levels equivalent of 1MP. You worry about your Sony which can't even get regular Bayer photo quality right. The worst Auto mode among 2020 flagships.

                Plastic is used just because it is lighter and cheaper. Not thinner.

                  Corner & overall sharpness, contrast, distortion correction are improved at hardware level, which I can definitely saw between each lens elements applied.

                      Lol 6P & 7P lens on smartphone used since 2017. Its 8P & 9P lens now, which has the better quality.

                      Come on Apple, be competitive on your hardware.
