Who wants to watch on a small phone with a small battery? you could get eye strain. 6.6" should be the standard.

I have the iPhone 12 "mini", this is not a "mini", is a NORMAL phone. The others are BIGGER. It's simple.

mini has a best size but Apple should think about the battery size and consider it's 2020 not 2010, we use smartphones much more than we used to, so we need bigger batteries

Anything below 150/70mm is fine for me. Smaller means little battery and mediocre camera.

and you need to know that with smaller phones more compromises with battery need to be made
also qualcomms 5g chips need a certain amount of surphace area
So yes you like small phones that's ok but not everyone likes small phones and for some the compromises aren't worth it

I think that you need to specify the display size as well. Anything that is beyond 5 inches should not be considered a mini or compact phone.
Easiest way to find out if your phone is a mini, is to try to scroll down the status bar with the same hand you're holding the phone. If you can't do it and the phone falls from your hand, then that means you don't have a mini.
I only wish android would give us the possibility to move the status bar on the bottom or on the sides. I used to do it on my rooted phones with exposed framework and it was awesome!

Unfortunately my hope for small budget friendly phone is dead with the poor iPhone 12 mini sales. Most of the people prefer big phones, since they do not have computer and for them the entire Internet is Facebook and Instagram (TikTok). There is a very small number of people like me who own PC, laptop, tablet and photo camera. Such people perhaps want to have easy to operate phone, but there is no need it to be flagship - just a normal smartphone as they used to be 3 years ago. Sorry guys, there won't be such product for such limited market. It is not a tragedy, even it is better, since while I hate my big phone, I don't use it.

We Android users don't have to carry powerbanks as we have phones with great battery life at all price points.

im actually considering going apple when i saw the size of the 12 mini. i just hate that no good smartphone is made this size anymore cus its perfect for one handed use.
bring back the 5,5-5,8 inchers!
