      Samsung S10e and Google Pixel 4a (same size) are both the PERFECT size. More like these, please.

        Anonymous, 07 Feb 2021It is, because size affects how you use it. I mean the form factor is more important, size can be adjustable.

          I think the iPhone SE from 2016 was really the last truly great compact phone. Maybe you can also say the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact. Both offered headphone jack and a flagship SoC during its release. The 2020 SE and 12 mini don't really qualify.

          As great as the SE1 was or even the XZ1C, I really wouldn't care to go back to that size as my daily. I remember the iPhone 3GS being a headache to type on using it briefly in 2015. It was only "3.5 for goodness sakes. We get the taller display with the 12 mini to make the size "bigger", but is it really bigger when the screen is just narrower?

          We'll be playing games in very wide aspect ratios and 2D platformers that involves jumping in landscape mode will be hard to see since the top and bottom are narrow. Add the notch. The only advantage for taller screens is viewing content in portrait mode.

            I'm already used to the norm and the iPhone 12 with the "6.1 is nearly the same height as my Pixel 3. Only 2 mm taller. It's 4 mm shorter than the XR and 11 and 30g lighter. Weight also can make a difference.

            The 12 mini will just never be useful for most modern games and will always have the weakest battery life due to its smallest battery. And it's not like the games I play are always graphic-intensive Genshin Impact. I just need to see the display better because my thumbs will end up covering it if trying to control it.

            I still would love to see a mini line continue whether they sell the least amount. But it's quite understandable why they aren't selling well. My SE1 can show 12 apps on each page minus the dock and still have two rows of space. My next iPhone must be open to 20 to 24 apps. And no more typos like my SE1 forces me to do.

              As compact as Sony Xperia Compact series, except the XZ2.

                Majority of phones today are 70mm+. When you have a phone at 60mm or less, that's compact. I would really like to see a new phone with 2:1 4" screen and slim bezels.

                    in my opinion, the pixel 4a is the perfect size, it's also very similar to my previous phone: a huawei honor 7s.

                            IOS might be the most profitable yet the gaming experience OS actually better because of dedicated hardware in the form of gaming phones.
