Ferrari's are sold in few units, not millions like iPhones. It's not a status symbol like a Ferrari.
Even the guy selling a burrito on the street can afford an iPhone but I bet very few can afford a Ferrari.
The real status symbol in today's smartphone world are foldables like the Z Fold 2 which sell at 2000$ and above. Very few can afford them.
Best selling iPhone at 800$ and its highest variant at 1500$ is far from expensive.

- useless macro... moreMost people can't differentiate difference between 10bit and 8bit video recordings especially the kind coming from smartphones. Sony garbage giving garbage quality pics in Auto mode.
Still can't get their software right.
And fast charging doesn't kill battery. Maybe if you charge Xperia with 55W it will blow up in flames as Sony has used cheap quality lower capacity batteries which can't handle fast charging. Another corner being cut by Sony.

It is the fact mi9 had 52mm camera, but now only Pro has.
Non-pro comes with useless macro when you can do macro with main camera.
Using digital zoom from main camera is not same of having another focal length.

They are even thinking after april to come back to few markets they have left in past years.
Many of chinese OEMs lose money with phones as well, loss covered by other businesses they have.

- useless macro cam (even k30 ultra has 50mm camera)
- no jack, no sd slot, no usb 3.0/3.1, not even simple IP53
- only QHD (resolution xiaominions always mocked and called gimmick) also poor calibrated
- only gorilla 5 rear panel.
- small ultra wide camera
- not capable of recording 10bit
- fast charging that's gonna kill battery in months
Best of all, worse overheating issues than phones powered by SD810.

It is meant to be used on a fast open track. Ferrari specializes in the sport car genre it is not meant to be a daily sedan.
Terrible analogy to compare Ferrari to Smartphone brands.
Mi, Samsung and Apple are providing smartphones for everyone, not for a special group of enthusiasts like Ferrari, so they don't get special privileges to price their products the way they want to.
Who are you to decode whether Xiaomi sheds it Flagship Killer skin or not?
OnePlus, Xiaomi, Oppo and other Chinese brands are already providing high end flagships. They don't need RezJor guys permession to qualify as a premium brands or price their products. In your own mind, nothing is better than Apple. That's not our problem.
