Sa... moredamn, even tho realme is releasing a lot of phones i'm still getting regular updates every month or 2 at most even tho i never experienced any of the problems that have been fixed in it, and mine is from sept 2019

Looks like Xiaomi did a good job on the hardware features.
However I am concerned this is hoing to go as every Xiaomi phone - forgotten by the software development in a couple of months. They should really understand that the flagship prices go with flagship software support. This means resolving bugs quickly, delivering security updates every month for at lest 3 years and at least two major Android version upgrades. On time. Not an year later.
They are really held back by their approach towards software and device support.

storage cost too much money these days due to Samsung dominance in flash chips,

Hope the Chinese competition can reduce the cost in UFS Chips

Dani2018, 05 Feb 2021I prefer iphone 12 pro . Xiaomi with those prices means ---... moreThe Chinese edition is only $699 on gitzop, the European edition is overpriced.

Sooner or later all companies become greedy,Xiaomi
          is no different.

As a Xiaomi user, that's overpriced. Very very overpriced.

Considering how small the upgrade of 888 over 865, this is a definitive "just buy Mi 10T" call.

Mi series is turning into a disappointment starting from mi 10

Jokers. I am more than happy with my Realme 7 5G. True bang for buck.

Samsung charge 50 more for 256GB model.
                      Xiaomi charge 100 !
                      Typical current Xiaomi.
Only Realme feels better value now/.

highly improbable that the release it with a MSRP higher than the galaxy s21

Overheating and overpriced. No one, and I mean no one in Europe is going to pay €800 for a Xiaomi. Their budget phones are good. Their "Flagships" are pointless though. Doesn't even have a tele cam

I prefer iphone 12 pro . Xiaomi with those prices means --- no sales. Haha no way .

This disease called curved screens need a vaccine

Almost $1000 usd? This is just their base model. Not even the Pro or Ultra. Expensive.

Wow even Samsung only charged €50 for double storage.

Sadly I have left Xiaomi after my Mi10 Pro and gone to S21 Ultra.
Aside from Android 11 and MIUI 12 there were no regular updates as I had on previous Hauwei / Honor / Samsung phones...it is still stuck on October security update.

Xiaomi are releasing millions of different variants every week and not taking care of their phones and hoping 1 feature update a year is enough.
I love the phone but feel a bit neglected and underwhelmed vs other manufacturers who are supporting not just flagships but other models with updates to daily stuff especially during first months / less than 1 year after launch.

799 europe is to much, the mi 10 pro was 799 last year in europe, now the regular mi 11 for 799 euro, you can buy iphone 12 mini or samsung s21

Do you need to pay even more to have one that doesn't overheat?

Xiaomi is getting greedy these days... matching Samsung pricing is never a good idea since Samsung has the locations and the after sales services all over the globe.
