The videos on phones have to be taken in huge bit rates for quality which make them come out to extreme excessive sizes. I mean movies can be found 600MB, and in good quality 1-2Gb and those are 2hours. This is .5GB for a few minutes. The best thing I have found is to convert to lower bit rate after taking which only has little effect with drastic size reduction.

At last someone stepped up & did something to the stagnant smartphone market. A phone that has class written all over it. Elegancy with smartness unleashed I must say. Never cared about Apple or Samsung toys but now it is time to throw away my BB & put my hands on this piece of elegant finesse & stature.

To those asking how you fill up a 32GB phone... it's easy.
If you are a "camera guy" then videos and pictures take up a lot of room quickly.
With my nokia N8 every month turns out to be about 2 or 3 GB of media...up to 5GB. I mean just a 5 minute video at 720P is 500MB.
Also some of us like to store videos from torrenting and stuff for future viewing using DLNA or the HDMI output.
I currently am limited to 32GB and I am always having to transfer stuff off my phone... need to find a good deal on a 32GB micro SD.

When phones nowadays can offer 32Gb,64GB or so built in and take up to 64GB cards and someone limits that while others don't that is called a drawback and it's not only Nokia.

cool phone.. this is one of the best...... the reason why theres no external maybe the successor of this monster will have that.. theres no perfect phone yet.. we cannot deal with it.. even samsung s3 is not so perfect but this one is really amazing.. so bored using ios now i'm using android and probably as soon as this monster arrive i'll switch over...

So yes external sd card memory is as important as the calling feature. Soon will get 64GB to replace my filled 32GB card.

I was hoping for matte.. but nevermind.. the camera technology (smartcapture, hardware image stabilization pureview image processing) + the supersensitive touch (you can use anything as a stylus, even your keys).. means great times when gone up the mountains in the cold weather skiing or whatever.. for all of you who think apps are going to be a problem.. windows marketplace reached 100 000 apps few months ago... besides that this phone has same screen resolution as most win8 tablets out there so another plus there...

when we r having a mbl with 4gb internal n a 8gb external sd card,we live with that,or in a few cases we even have a 16gb external card,again we live with that..!!we dont complain for that...but when we r getting 32GB INTERNAL storage we cry...god knows for what reasons u r complaining for not having external storage...!!!shame on u all nokia haters
