There is no reason to buy another product with higher price. Even Redmi Note 8 that was released at 2019 almost equal this, and it costs less. This one against Poco M3? Good luck with that.

Why are they still using 720p panels on 2021? And on a midrange device? 720p is ok for 3.4/2.4/1.4 but not for 5.4, which is supposed to be their middle of the line device.

Price should be Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 6000 (roughly US $ 80)
Specs: 720p LCD, SD 662, 4/6 GB Ram and a Chinese OEM rebrand.
But I have my doubts if the phone will be performing well after 2-3 months.
Very unlikely - this will have freezes, stutters and subpar overall performance.

Very good phone, it’s getting positive reviews all around. Build quality is superb, software support is good too. Just 10 euro more expensive than the older Nokia 5.3 but the 5.4 is not really a successor of the 5.3 anyways.

Hi GSMarena, I would like to report a typo - it looks like you accidentally wrote "€189" instead of "€89", which should be the real price... Another day, another "literally no reason to buy this over Poco X3/M3" phone by Nokia. HMD is disrespecting the legacy of Nokia with this garbage.

I don't like how all the phones are rounded these days. Rounded phone body, rounded corner, rounded displays etc.
Nokia odd numbered series used to be flat and sharp, and classiccy while the even numbered series are rounded and modern for those times.

HMD phones are Google Pixel wannabes. Why choose HMD over Pixel? Battery capacity. Other than that, HMD is a total downgrade.

In March 2020 Nokia had announced Nokia 5.3 with Android 10 and in December 2020 they announced same series phone with same OS. Why someone will buy a new phone in 2021 with 2019 Android 10 OS? Either 5.4 should have been launched with Android 11 pre-installed or they should give 3 OS updates to this phone. The specifications of this phone is good and looks nice. I want to replace my 3 year old Nokia 3 (2017) and would have interested in this phone if it had Android 11. Hope they will launch this phone at correct price and will not be over-priced as usual.
