Looking at the features and the performance of the PlayStation 5, and how it compares to its extremely successful predecessor

My brother on my mom's side had the Xbox 360. My brother and sister on my dad's side got the Wii U and Switch. If I had owned those devices, perhaps only the Switch would crack my top 10 being it's portable. But how the Switch is engineered is awful.

Why have one of the analog sticks above the d-pad? And the OG d-pad is horrible to use. PS Vita did it right by version 2. More comfy, more pocketable, much lighter. And I can use my AirPods for them.

I love PlayStation products. I'll eventually get the PS5 but been preferring to get the slimmer ones. I'm good with my PS4 for the next 3 years. The PS5 is the nicest PlayStation design but still looks bulky. Wait for the refinements in the next version.

      PlayStations are my favorite consoles, my first console was a PS2 slim and the only game i played on it was gran turismo 4, this was until 2017, that's when i got the ps4 slim. i really want the PS5, if only there was not shortages lol

        My last console was PS2, then Im into PC till now. Surely Im gonna try to join console again, this generation looks promising now.

          Im just gonna get this baby once my most awaited game Horizon Forbidden west is released. Right now all stores at my place both online and local ask twice or more the msrp, crazy. Only with pre-order would get you msrp price but gonna have to wait around 3 months.

            PS2 is more advanced by time from Dreamcast hardware.
            Comparing PS2 and Game Cube is relevant as they use same generation hardware.

            Comparing PS2 with Dreamcast is on par with Play station, SNES comparison. (Two seperate technology generation).

            GD-Drive was a revolution in using compact disks efficiently. Loading contents continuously made Dreamcast superior toward all available gaming platforms.

            Unfortunately by Sega mis management, developers killed Dreamcast as they killed Microsoft's Windows Phone for the same mismanagement..

              In my opinion, such reviews are malicious.

                Full Story and Two points:

                1- Play Station was first in light color which was gray. So as Sony itself boldly stated, There is a new Gaming Era. They reboot the console gaming Idea and they reset the projects by reintroducing the Play station in the Current taste as PS5. "Gran Turismo is Back" is their reference to what I mentioned and those who live up with Black boxes from Atari 2600 to Mega Drive 2 with Mega CD 2 know what I mean. Nintento NES and SNES were light colored and regionally strictly exclusive titles made them not so globally acclaimed.

                2- PS4 started to loosen what was already available in PS3 with few exclusive titles and already aged stories which was the power point of the ecosystem. PS2 has its own stand in the box which was in blue and black. PS4's GT Sport was a mess and GTA V was also outdated to be in PS4 Pro titles in order to catch Microsoft's XBOX and PC Forza titles with better Console specs in One X and limitless PC componenets to power up titles.


                PS5 and XBOX Series X have their potential to surpass PC which is a tough unbeatable opponent which fortunately has its weak point "MSRP".

                Exclusive titles like Twisted Metal Regeneration as a combat car Race and something like Shenmue 2 in story line and real life conditions are long awaited.

                Such hardware wise reviews for too limited options for game consoles never meet Gaming machine war which sarted strictly since Xbox 360 and PS3.

                If you want to switch the GSM view of the website to Electronic devices or Online tech magazine,
                I think there is a better way to cover things up. Put a general daily news/reviews section in the website or turn your view to comparison of those high tech gadgets in your youtube page as In my opinion is more relevant.

                Smartphones are twisted tightly in hardware and software which makes a complex to find, review and offer or discuss matters.

                Camera and Console Which accidentally (?!?!?!?) by a brand which struggle to survive in their respect way of their products is a bit more Advertisably visible than technically reviewd.

                Compare Cameras with Cameras : Photo and Video result from their Category.

                An article recently advertised A1 as a good combination for already outdated Xperia Pro by Sony's itself criteria.

                Now deep explanation of PS5 which is totally closed to neither upgrade hardware and Software.

                Instead, there are plenty Smartphones are in the queue of review which are also affordable to those who want to spend their limited budget in order to get acceptable triangle of HSP (Hardware-Software-Pricetag).

                There are more than 10 phones available in the market which are in your phone lists which were not reviewed. These little tasks which are totally relevant to your website are neglected in order to review the thing which there is no other option to select.

                When there is no second runner, a chubby lazy fat man sets record in each checkpoint.

Those "superior" TVs often have higher input and pixel latency as well. They are just now starting to pick up gaming modes where there isn't alot of software enhancements going on.

                  Right now console and PC are equally dead. Shortages everywhere.

                    New GPUs and CPU have been almost impossible to find for months already and prices have kept creeping up. Not to mention new TVs, especially LG OLEDs, offer superior image quality and gaming experience compared to the mainstream 27-35 inch LCD monitors.

                      For years, I was torn between PS2 vs Dreamcast. Because during 2001-2002, using my Dreamcast felt better to me. Everyone would say it's underrated. Is it really? Because the more people say it's underrated, the more overrated it is. The GameCube is underrated. Saturn is underrated.

                      If I was stuck on an island and had to choose between Dreamcast or PS2, I'm choosing PS2. It can play PS1 games and DVDs. PS2 really hit its stride by 2004 and 2005 when MGS3, Tekken 5, Gran Turismo 4, and God of War were released. Dreamcast doesn't have the power to run GoW at 60 FPS like the PS2 did.

                      My favorite PlayStation library came from the original PS1 though. That's why my Vita is my favorite of all-time. Can play several PS1 and PS2 games but on the go. The fact I can play Uncharted was truly amazing for 2011 technology. Wasn't as nice as PS3's but the franchise was only 4 years old.

                        I was going to buy a Nintendo Switch Lite but the drifting issue still exists. And I hate how it doesn't have wireless Bluetooth listening. The Sony PlayStation 5 should my 20th different device I'll own and should shoot up to my top 5 right away.

                        You can tell PS3 is my least favorite PlayStation. I think Sony tried way too hard with PS3. Never owned the PSP Go which would've been it. I think Saturn would've been higher had I lived in Japan. But I've been a PlayStation fanboy since September 2, 1996.

                                    Do not wory, ypur "gaming phone" can run Candy Crush and other games at 1080@60, before it gets hot and frames drop to 40 or below.
