Perfect size, very portable, flagship processor (when released), premium body and screen, powerful speakers and great hardware overall. Installed with GMS since bought, and just received EMUI 11 update. I don't like big size tablet, I might as well use my laptop. Hopefully huawei or other OEM keep releasing 8-9inch premium tablet in future.

Those things happen only when you run repeated benchmarks which doesn't represent real world scenario of using the machine.

But Windows can run iPad OS or Android through an emulator flawlessly. That's how good Windows is... Good luck having Windows level functionality on ipad or Android tablet.

Like you said, too restrictive and not half but alot of my apps were made for the iphone, so it was like iPhone sized in the iPad screen with the option to expand it full screen, so not impressed there. So sold it and bought the the Samsung galaxy tab s7 and now I'm back in my world..

              I like more 10-11” tablets, as I use my tablet mainly for movies and gaming (with controller). The experience is better than on a 8” one. I tried ipad mini, wasn’t satisfied with the display dimensions.

                Thats your mentality. Each serves its needs. No want wants a blazing hot fan powered heavy tablet Win 10 when viewing their contents in bed.

                  I wish there is a flagship android 8" tablet. Perfect size. Instant buy.

                      The key problem of Android tablets is Google doesn't take it seriously when Apple created iPadOS for iPads. Android tablets still like phones with big displays.

                        It’s never been about specs. I don’t think Android tablets been any lower in specs. It’s the whole ecosystem and AppStore full of Apps designed for iPad, iPad is just superior to offer tablet apps and games.

                          Much of the iPad sale is because of its amazing note taking ability with the Apple Pencil. There's simply no competition here. Apple knows they have this space, therefor selling the Apple Pencil at such a high price, being totally worth it though.

Plus, iOS apps are way ... morealmost all of that statement is wrong, ipads are not the best, they are simply the best selling, and have always been the best sellers, they do have a few exclusing apps that set them aside for premium users, but an ipad experience is still clunky and restrictive, its just a giant iphone, I have not used Samsungs tab S7 range yet, but they are much better in almost every way on paper at least, especially the S7+

                              iPad is the best tablet hands down. Plus, iOS apps are way more better since it's much more optimized there.

                              Samsung has to step up there game iPad is way too good.

                                Ipads are way better than Android tablets. The only Android tablets that are somehow relevant are Samsung ones, and even those not all of them (only the ones having Dex mode).
                                And now with the spreading of Chromebooks (including some cheap and good ones from Lenovo and Acer), Android tablets are even less relevant.
                                To tell you the truth I find better even Windows tablets than Android tablets.

                                      I hope the companies put more effort into tablets. Tablets are the perfect middle ground between smartphones and laptops and with the right kind of innovation, marketing and features they will not only take over some of the smartphone market but also some of the laptop market as well.

                                        Had it not been for the pandemic--and the social isolation that came along with it--tablet sales would still be declining, and some companies would have pulled out of the tablet market altogether. That Lenovo had nearly doubled its sales was a surprise; Apple's share of the market was no surprise. Hope that this renewed sales will spur improvements in Andriod-based tablets.
