They did a mistake with with G8 series. G8 Plus and G8 Play were running on Android 9, but G8 Power and G8, G Pro were running Android 10

When Android 12 Beta builds are in process, it's laughable that some device has moved from Android 9 to Android 10

Got the update on my g8 play in the Caribbean.
No major errors, noticeable lag on my browser and that's it.

So a device with 2GB of RAM gets an update but the E7 Plus with 4GB will get zero?

Monitor.
You can check there.
But i don't think that your phone support 90Hz, it is not software issue but hardware.
More likely that thay pushed this same update for several phones and that is way you have this option which basically do nothing.

my mom's g8 play received the update. now it has a 90hz screen option, but i don't know if it works.
