Anonymous, 06 Sep 2012Ah ok got it, Nokia is going down because you said so and A... moreNokia already was caught lying in the commercials ahaha that videos weren't shot on ois tech, shame on Nokia to lie on launch already, and W8 failed on first presentation as usual, and on ther times Windows Phone also promised and didn't delivered, sorry it's facts! And with iPhone is common sense, if product doesn't innovate, if doesn't have nothing new in the design or iOS it will not deliver as you and all (or one) apple blinded anonymous fans are thinking or stating...projections are for you to keep dreaming, days are changed! You will see it! Only already Apple costumers will buy an iPhone 5 and even those will have a hard thinking time trying to decide if it pays out to leave iPhone 4/4S for iPhone 5 (because everyone don't see any REAL change) oh well let's wait and see!

Anonymous, 06 Sep 2012Ok here's a problem I throw to Android. Is there an app whe... moreI'm talking about the phone capabilities, not the availability of apps, Mr. Musician. You are pointing about app innovations there so the credit goes to the developer, not Apple. So you can keep rockin' with that Amp application of yours and make your grandma proud. I'm not gonna exchange real innovation with such crappy app for iGeeks.

Is there an app whe... moreMate, we aren't all musicians, so stay with that app and I'll stay with thousands of other FREE apps that I don't find on iOS. If you like to throw money away is your choice. LONG LIVE ANDROID! And who says "lol" anymore, you must be a crappy musician ;)

Anonymous, 06 Sep 2012Ok here's a problem I throw to Android. Is there an app whe... moreHow about I throw a problem to the 99.999% remaining IPHONE users out there: "How many of you actually have an electric guitar and you plug it into your iphone as an amp as opposed to plugging it into professional amps connected to your laptop or PC?"
Those amps and apps you mentioned are effectively there for a niche market only, and doesn't account for what the remaining 99.999% of people actually do with their phones.
Therefore, the inability to do that on Android or WP8 is irrelevant to this topic at hand.

Anonymous, 06 Sep 2012Ok here's a problem I throw to Android. Is there an app whe... moreHey Jon Bon Jovi, I'm so glad you're able to plug your amp into your iPhone. I'm sure there are dozens of you throughout the world who are interested in this. The question I ask you, and take your time, how does that number compare to the millions who are more interested in plugging their SD card into their device than an electric guitar? Or, how does that compare to the millions who are sending data at 4g speeds vs. the 3g iPhone? Good job finding one thing in this world that iOS can do better than android, though only losers will use it. Rock On, Axel Rose wannabe!!!!

FYI, no other hi-tech phone manufactures and can sync all their devices including their washing machine and microwave oven, or even the air conditioner and refrigerator. One phone to command them all. Makes other SO CALLED ORIGINALS stone age. Suck it up Apple fans.

It's an incredibly impressive amount - no mistake there...
What you have to remember is that when iPhone comes out - they're going to sell by the million-load too...
Where does that leave Nokia??? 20+ million to Samsung - possibly even more to Apple... Nokia didn't even give a release date for the 920, the Note 2 is also out very early October... that will mop up a few more million easily...
No wonder their share value dropped 13% during the presentation yesterday... showing fake videos of what your phone can(not) do, plus the lack of sd card, plus the VERY heavy weight... Plus the underdeveloped WP8...
M$ will buy out Nokia next year and then they'll have their Surface Mobiles wrapped up in a bow... Nokia will be no more...

Anonymous, 06 Sep 2012WP8 ascendancy will come from an unlikely factor... Win 8 t... moreforget about windows phone os ,windows cannot even improve their desktop os.
advice to windows phone users . the first app you should buy is a good antivirus. but event that wont help bcoz the os itself is a virus. the ability of the os to crash on its own, lag,etc..etc...
and wp users dreaming of the windows apps will b available for their smartphones keep dreaming
here are the list of requirements.
video card of 1 gb or more
ram of 2gb or more
processing speed of 3+ gzh not to mention multiple cores.
only intel and amd are capable of fulfilling their powerful requirements. and when done you will find your smartphone got converted into a laptop. may be they should develope a new concept lapphone.
