1. Go to Google Search: https://www.google.com/
2. Then, at the bottom right corner click "Settings"
3. After clicking "Settings" it will show some settings and in there you have to choose "Search Settings"
4. Then, Scroll down till you get the appearance option
5. Select your theme :)

I see people praising ddg, look ddg is limited by what it can collect, search results are just not what google can provide.
If you need more nuanced searches and search terms, ddg is gonna fail you real hard, not shaming their service, it's just not that great for it to be used as a complete google replacement yet.

Google is a bad joke. They work on so many bad or appalling projects, but giving their search engine a simple and highly requested feature takes them years to implement.

Google search should provide real uncensored results first. Dark mode is much less relevant.

I had stopped using Google Chrome and Google search engine everywhere long back and shifted to Mozilla Firefox browser on desktop and DuckDuckGo browser on mobile.
Although DuckDuckGo don't provide dark mode on mobile for web pages, it has in-built dark mode for search engine, both on desktop web browser and mobile app.
