I want to educate iPhone users believing Apple invented everything when they didn't. But at the same time, I want to say I'm enjoying iOS14. It's finally more customizable. Not as great as Android but it's getting better. I love the customizable widgets.
I really want my iPhone SE 2016 to be updated to iOS14 but I keep reading horror stories about it. It's still on iOS10 which I hear is the best firmware for it. I'm not going to sacrifice battery life just for widgets and other software bugs. So only my 7 will be customized since everything runs well on iOS14.
Apple does plenty of good things. Props to them for at least software support in their devices for at least 5 years. And their aftermarket service are the best. They're so common like Honda and Toyota that replacing a battery is much easier than say an Essential Phone or HTC One.

Anonymous, 15 Feb 2021yeah apple has the magic . Android fan boy doesnt get it. A... moreWell if Apple has some magic then it might work on some of the people on the other way. Eg. I like the design of the iPhones (especially the new one's), like that they are more waterproofed than the other normal phones, I like that they are able to create normal size phones, but I really hope that they will not reach android flagships in the camera field, otherwise I might have to make some compromise... Because I really hate iOS (yes I have used it), I can not even imagine how one can live with so much restrictions.
Unfortunately the Android OEMs are on this stupid Phablet train, manufacturing 6.5-7" phones, so I have a 6 years old samsung with my own cooked Android ROM... And waiting for the appropriate new phone... (Waterproof, small, top camera and hopefully Android)

One of the best implementations of AoD I've personally seen were on the Motos from a few years back (I saw it on my relative's Z Play), where it lights up whenever u bring ur hand closer to it (some presence sensor shit-Hall effect iirc). Tbh, I found it really weird and awesome as it didn't rely on the IR (proximity) sensor that older Lumias employed

Shanti Dope, 15 Feb 2021As if Samsung mocking Apple in removing the charger in the ... more”Yes, iPhones are pretty expensive for what they offer, but they do excel in things that matters, specifically the stability, longevity of support, and definitely the higher level of security.” - maybe true for security reasons, but unfortunately, Apple users don't buy them for that. They're buying it because it's Apple. They'd buy even shit with Apple logo on it (which they do). Longevity is something to consider it, but any company can do that with only a few devices on the market. What is the biggest no-no for Apple products for me is reliability - I would expect for a 1000+ USD device is to NEVER breakdown or have anykind of problems. But what is happening is just plain hilarious. I don't mind - be stupid, buy Apple for what I care.

-Trix-, 15 Feb 2021Soon Apple has removed all the reason to buy Android phones... moreNo they don't... I have Apple products in the past, so been there done that.
I never buy Apple again because i don't like the way they are and what they stand for.
All this i have with Samsung to, been there and done that.
Same i have with Google, Facebook and US.
Things, phones etc. tells what u believe and what u stands for (statements).
But I have to do compromise with Android/Google because i better like Android, but still I can choose between tons of brands.

And of course time is a valuable resource and everything gets refined/optimitsed over time, so it's hardly a surprise that something would be better than it's previous version from years ago.

Rk100, 15 Feb 2021Finally someone speaking straight facts.
I 1000% agree wit... moreIt’s just a thing Android users do, i mean who cares who did something first? For some reason Android users always have to keep mentioning it. If Android companies copy something Apple or iOS have, we don’t see Apple users in those articles saying welcome to this and this year. Android users just show how insecure they are by what Apple is doing. They know iPhone will be again better and better and they know it will sell really well and they jus’t can’t deal with that.
It’s getting really old actually.
Another one is the the one when Android users keep talking how Apple invented this and this and yet Apple says that very rarely or their users. Yet Android users have some kind obsession over this invented thing. Saw it already in this article comments too.

Soon Apple has removed all the reason to buy Android phones for majority, except the price, so low-end market will stay with Android just like it’s been for a while now.
Android users again going all nuts over this as usually.

I 1000% agree with you, in this comment section already I've seen people roasting apple and what not. But it pisses me off when android fanboys keep talking about what apple is copying yet they never acknowledge what the Android OEM's are copying from apple. People need to understand, every company copy's. Whether it car companies 'copying' Tesla on EV's or bank 'copying' a new payment method. Everyone copy's, and if you aren't happy about it then, that's a person issue.
