Best value is used enterprise laptops, very sturdy and well built machines like Lenovo T460 or Dell Latitude E5470 both below $300.

Starts at $549? I'd rather buy a used NexDock Touch and a used Samsung Galaxy S10 or S10+.

$500 for a chromebook OS? my little brother got a second hand windows laptop for $300 with a spec i3 7020U, 4GB, MX250, 1TB, RW drive... save your money, check marketplace or used products in your country.
