LTPO is more efficient than LTPS and is currently featured on the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and S20 Ultra.

LTPO is used on watches with always on displays.

Would be interesting to see E-Ink mode. Basically have display refresh on changes only (so, even lower than 1Hz). Phone would disable all menu animations and smooth scrolling. It could be great for browsing mostly static pages like forums, Reddit and stuff as display wouldn't even refresh and any consumption would be solely from display emitting light, not furiously refreshing pixels that don't even need refreshing.

    we don't care about LTPO but we want flat screen BACK

      Sharp create screens that can go down to 1Hz.
      Samsung gets all credits for screens that go to 40 Hz.
