Weekly poll results: 128GB is the new sweet spot for base storage, microSD cards still important

A bit over two years ago 64GB was considered a fine starting point, but now people are aiming at 128GB and higher.

256 seems fine for now. Luckily I hate playing videogames, can't stand the touchscreen method.

256 on board storage out the with sdcard support essential for any purchase I make. I'll settle for 128 with sdcard support that's definitely the least I'll except.

My current Note10Plus has 256 with 1TB sdcard, My Note20Ultra has 128 with 1TB sdcard, and my TabS7Plus has 128 with 512 sdcard so I'm set for a long time.

Also it's the age of Netflix and youtube and spotify etc. the age of streaming. Who still downloads and transfers things?

When I h... moreWow inserting a micro sd card is so hard lol, anyway you don't use it like a camera and take it out all the time, you use it to expand your phone's storage so you can have more music, photos and videos, movies and tv shows etc. when you're offline. Most people usually download stuff directly to their phone or use a cable or wireless transfer between the phone and your computer/laptop.

For me micro SD card in pohne is totall obsolete.. When I had phone with sd card I never used it.. phone had already 128gb internal .. and + cloud storage so now pointless ... And removing sd card from phone and putting it back looking for pin to remove tray.. Jeez nobody gonna bother these days now...
micro SD is good now only for cameras or action cameras or security cameras .. That's about it..
