The back is similar to Asus Zephyrus G14...
could function as an Always on Display instead of the RGB logo back...

I don't play that much games but whenever I do, I see no lag or latency at all. everything just flies on my own phone despite having 2019 specs. maybe some faulty units or Tencent Editions being forced to run Global ROM that has the issues

Foxtrot2Novmbr, 19 Feb 2021You mean they've better bring a better ROG5 with the n... more10k mah battery paired with 4K that too 144hz would drain battery super quick considering its would also be powering 16gb RAM, SD888 and maybe the air triggers. how bout we just stick to 2K 144hz for now. oh and 1tb storage is an awsome idea, but then i would not see the point of expandable storage since u already have so much...

JustSomeRandomGuy, 19 Feb 2021I'm not sure how to feel about this. ROG Phone release... moreYou mean they've better bring a better ROG5 with the new specs. such as:
            1. 1 TB of internal + Expandable Storage.
            2. 7 inch 4k display at 144hz refresh rate.
            3. 10,000mah battery capacity.
            4. Bigger and better front facing stereo speakers.
            5. More skin color. Like Crimson Red, Deep Blue Sea.
            6. More RGB on the BACK.
            7. More Bling Blings. And
            8. A ROG TSHIRT FAN EDITION for those who will get the COMPLETE SET.

I'm not sure how to feel about this. ROG Phone releases usually happens mid year, this is much earlier. every ROG Phone benefited from having a slightly better Soc but this being too early doesn't have such advantage. I hope Asus brings something unique to the table rather than just a phone w/flagship specs. maybe an AI that upscales the fps of games up to 144 Hz. even just on interpolation, that's better than 60 or even 30 fps

Yukvgffh, 19 Feb 2021Is there no SD888+ this year, Asus is fond of using the + v... moreNo. Strix edition will potentially use the 870 while the regular uses the 888.

I'll be honest, I wish the Strix edition uses Dimensity 1200 instead because of the integrated modem and because it's actually BETTER then the 870.

Very surprised how early it's coming... that's half a year since the 3.

Just hoping for the return of the jack, better cooling, to and (this will never happen) microSD card slot.

Is there no SD888+ this year, Asus is fond of using the + variant in it's phones.

SD 888 is actually SD865+++, a bit better CPU but same GPU, minor upgrade thus.

                        So, correct news is
Tencent Spyphone is coming on 10 March with SD865+++
