So that's Xiaomi and Lenovo both producing (differently specified and priced) Indian-made phones aimed at that market and presumably doing so to avoid import duties.
Surely this is something Samsung could be doing, with the added USP of "we're not a Chinese company"? I don't know if they are, I've lost track of all their midrange and budget models especially in India. But just the "Indian consumers who'll never buy Chinese phones" market alone is huge now, and Samsung ought to be dominating it.

For it's price it's in a range where you get G80-85 cpu in the phone

The old moto was much better with the X and Z series, and other great designs. Bought a lot of moto phones over the years, but lately moto phones are as unappealing as they can get. With the discontinuation of the force series, I see no reason why I should be intrested in moto anymore
