AnonD-8143, 11 Sep 2012Gr8 points.. But you are missing a few vital aspects as wel... moreNice, someone actually listed some factual points :)

    1) True, but for me and probably for the vast majority of consumers it has little meaning, because 32GB will be enough for even data heavy usage. But of course if you really need more than that, then it might all on its own tip the scales in favor of S3. But so might any of the features Lumia 920 has in its favor do too (more likely).

2)True. This does however have an effect on quality of construction and durability over time(IMO, from past experience of mobiles with removable back covers). From Gsmarenas review: "..paper thin battery cover.." And nowadays I really don't see the need for removable battery (in the past it was needed for hard reset when s60 was the most used platform). For the traveling salesmen I would recommend portable chargers.

3)True, but not that different from MS Marketplace anymore. Android has 600k+ apps (growth rate 200apps/day) and WP has 110k+ (growth rate 313apps/day), so in size Android is clearly bigger, although the cap is diminishing all the time. But the important thing in all the app stores is that you can find the apps you need (average consumer downloads 41 apps and not more) and all the big apps are present in all the major app stores (iOS, Android, WP). And when Windows 8 and W8 RT start to pickup, those Metro apps will surely be ported across the ecosystem (pc, tablets, phones). In this the use of NT kernel in all three is the key. So I see only bigger growth rates for WP8.

But the important thing is that consumers now have great alternatives from which to choose from. Its only a question which features they will value the most (if they are thoroughly informed of the possibilities/differences).

Objectivity is the key here :)

          Lumia 920 vs Galaxy S3

Call quality - Nokia, pretty sure
Signal reception - Nokia, same as above
          Build quality - Nokia
          Design - Nokia
Camera - Nokia, Pureview with Optical Image Stabilization and best for low light shots.
Screen - Nokia, PureMotion HD+ is the most fluid, brightest, most sensitive, and the best for viewing outdoor with ClearBlack polarizer layer technology. Advanced touchscreen that works with keys, gloves, and fingernails.
Audio recording - Nokia, HAAC Rich Recording with 3 distortion free high amplitude microphones.
Music quality through headphone jack - Leaning toward Samsung right now.

TizenMeeGo Takeover, 11 Sep 2012I have a question... If Android fans love choice sooo much... moreThat's what you get from fanboys, and this case doesn't happen only with android fanboys only. Even apple and wp fanboys have the same bad attitudes.

But only fools who can't see that each OS has their own advantages and flaw. WP and iOS are very stable (it's like no lags at all!) but in cost of boring UI. Android in the other is very costumizable (you should see how artistic android screen costumization could be in mycolorscreen.com ) but could be very laggy and prone to bugs due to heavy costumizations.

But anyway, back to the topic. Advertising always about exaggerating to get the attention of the buyer, isn't it?

I don't care about the "misleading" vids and images. I've seen the "real" image samples and videos taken by the 920 from the verge. Gonna get one. I mean, true innovation over skin-deep-eye-candy? No match. Haters gonna hate.

A disclaimer ??? Get real gsm arena!

I don't see a "disclaimer" for the galaxy s3 on samsung's official website. Of particular interest is the wedding scene, where photos in the TV commercial are completely different to the ones that appear on their official website : check it out for yourelves if you don't believe me - the groomsman is wearing a totally different outfit and the bride has her hair tied back.
Again on the website (samsung.com), look at the sction marked "best shot" - the photo purportedly selected by the phone is completely different to the one appearing in burst mode.
