OP9 only upgrade to 8T is soc 888 and LPDDR5 ... No ip rating, QHD, imx 689, telephoto etc ... With a more than capable soc 865 and LPDDR4+ what the point to put some hundred $ more if you prefer flat screen. Lazy company as google with its garbage pixel 5 (at least got a great cam).

Base model without wireless charging? so is this a flagship or only Pro is and the other model is economy mid class?
damn, this is bad. I am waiting for a flagship which is not heavy and main argument for quickly upgrading from 8 Pro to 9 was wireless charging comes to the base model.
well, money saved, and wait for model 10 nonPro with wireless charging.

Watch mrwhosetheboss video, he explains how they ran &... morei personally think its a good idea because since almost every product uses USB-C, we already have USB-C cables and charger bricks in our homes, and we don't have to buy the bricks/cables from the company, we can just buy the third party ones and they would just as fine. i know the "cable and charger brick in our home" thing does not apply to everyone, but it does apply to A LOT of people. Speaking of USB-C, if apple does not completely switch to USB-C in the next iphone, i am not considering iphone 13 for my next phone. i might as well get a oneplus or a pixel at this point.

Which is so stupid when companies offer proprietary fast charging and don't include charger... Then you use 3rd party charger and pretty much hope for the best it actually charges anywhere close to advertised rates.
