Anonymous, 19 Feb 2021Either price it lower or offer something extra.yeah offering something extra sounds like a great idea as well. maybe keeping the power brick, offering OPbuds, SDXC slot etc

      at least this time it has 120hz over 90hz in the vanilla OP8, but its making the OP8T a more compelling buy. if they want people to buy this over OP8T, they may have to prove it lower which wont be that easy

        Again that filthy 16mp selfie camera.. god knows till when this company will use that oldie sensor with fixed focus even nord had 32mp selfie sensor which can record 4k60fps n higher end models can shoot upto 4k@30fps only.

          notafanboy, 19 Feb 2021I will be LMAO if its the prehistoric IMX586 again.Meanwhile pixel 5 using IMX383.

            TECH--BEAST, 19 Feb 2021Agree with u... 8T still a good value.It is same situation as last year. 8 was similar to 7t and some areas 7t was better.

              Shui8, 19 Feb 2021Definitely IMX689, just like on the Pro. IMX586 used as UWA.No.

              OP9 = 586 + 586 + depth or macro

              OP9P = 689 + 586 + 64MP

                      This thing needs wireless charging and an IP rating. I'm assuming it'll be $750 like the 8T and for that price you need those features. If not it should be $600

                        The 8T is a very good phone. But in order to sell something new at a slightly higher price (assuming price will increase), you have to have a little more than the new generation SoC.

                          Pro does not have the 3x.
                          64MP + digital zoom like samsung.

                            OnePlus 9 is not a flagship any more, maybe 9 Pro. Having S888 doesnt make it flagship. Flagship = tele at least 3x, S888, wireless charging, USB C 3.x.
