I just really dislike the Poco branding. Every time I hear "Poco" I get a flashback of Mexico and tortilla chips with spicy nacho cheese. They are great, just not as a phone. Redmi on the other hand is a name that doesn't remind me of anything yet is unique enough to stand on its own. I know it's just a name, but still. Especially when it's written in large on the back of the phone...

A14 is the ... moreMany iphones have heating problems. Just go on youtube and search iphone heating problems. Especially around the cameras on the back and when using apps for video calls. Which in this pandemic times is very frequently.
And when I say heating problems, I say you can't put your hand on the back of the device heating. I thought my iphone Xs had some problems, but after searching online I discovered is something common. And with different models too.
So is not about the chipset, is about something else. I don't know if Apple thought about this or if it's safe on long term usage, but for me was enough to sold my iphone.
I saw that a lot of iphone users make fun or jokes about this, so probably for some of them is not a big deal.
PS: I didn't game on my iphone and usually I don't game on my phones.

Anonymous, 02 Mar 2021I don't know why they decreased the battery to 4500mah... morePoco X3 has bigger battery because it is thicker (9.4mm vs 7.8mm on K40). And it is only 5160mah Vs 4520mah, not a huge deal.
The OLED screen is way more efficient than the IPS screen in the X3, so it should contribute to more battery life. And also, K40 has adaptive refresh rate at software level (don't confuse it with the LTPO panel of S21s), so it should get better battery from that too. And also the 7nm chip should be more efficient if you are doing light tasks.

X series in poco is middle range hardware while F is the flagship killer. Never mind that X3 NFC is with SD732 and F3 will be with SD870 that is around 2 times more powerful based on the benchmarks. X3 NFC is around 300k in Antutu v8 and F3 be around 500-600k

870 simply means that Qualcomm overhyped the 888. The 888 is barely faster than the 865. The only problem with the 870, the same with 865, is the X55 modem. The X60 on the 888 is better and more efficient, and less power hungry than the X55.

And if the using of SD870 will make the price even cheaper, that is a win win situation right there.
